Our last drive on the Altiplano in Argentina (most beautiful track of our world tour) – EP 85

We found the big 4 of the Altiplano, the perfect hot spring camp, an electric car travelling pole to pole, 4 friends really adventurous, a barbecue in the devil’s desert, and a perfect cone, all of it during our last drive on the Puna plateau in Argentina.

The puna plateau is a continuation of the Altiplano the biggest second high plateau in the world after Tibet! We hesitated a lot to go back for a long expedition drive in those inhospitable lands but the thought that it would be our last chance to see these landscapes was a good enough motivation.

We elected this journey the most beautiful drive of our world tour journey so far! We are not joking it was exceptional.

An immense thank you to our travel friends, Jon and Nadine (on instagram couch_potatoes) and Vanessa and Dario (on instagram pathsofrosie) for such a beautiful ride!

Until next week, take care!

Nick & Mathilde

  1. Another magical journey with amazing video editing and use of music. Well Done.

That little hot spring on the side of the road was my favourite. I wonder where the location is? Any pins ?

  2. On the way from Biel/Bienne to Geneva and the video ended now in Morges. It was so so interesting and you guys are so brave! Kudos to 3 of you ❤️ wow amazing! Enjoyed it throughly. I like how Mathilde is so relaxed, I was stressing my husband during our one year trip in Americas when our diesel was going low…AND we had to wait for a week in Baha, it was always Manana 🤓😎 much love ❤️

  3. The landscapes are unreal – and very beautiful. I’ve been to Argentina and I recognised *nothing*. I wondered if you had crossed the border into Narnia, but if so the roads would have been smoother and not so dusty. I hope you will stop now for long enough to tighten every one of Albo’s bolts.

  4. Howdy Albies! Hot springs and cold beer! Yahoo! Wonderful trip again! How do you pick which ride is the best when all your trips are epic! Thanks again! Saddle up!

  5. That landscape is amazing and so varied. It seems very remote, desolate and untouched. I loved the drone shots. The guitar music during the water crossings was so fun! Oh my gosh so close on the fuel! Glad you have the reserve cans. Can't wait to see a different part of Argentina!

  6. Okay guys…what's happening? Your videos are just getting better and better and this one is epic and for the record books. Everything about it…adventure, stunning scenery, wildlife, skies, people, and even the music. It was all beautiful. We watch about 8 different YouTubers regularly (some of them pretty "popular") and you two have become our favorite. We still like the others but we especially enjoy following you both on your adventures.

  7. Merci pour vos vidéos que l’on regarde avec plaisir depuis le début.
On a adoré votre dernière route, les paysages et le bivouac prêt de la source chaude 😍. Pouvez-vous nous donner des indications pour l’ajouter à notre to visit list ?
