THERE EXISTS THE POTENTIAL FOR ANOTHER DERECHO EVENT ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL US THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, SPECIFICALLY FOCUSING UPON THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS, ESPECIALLY ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS, IN WHICH SPC HAS PULLED A RARE DOUBLE UPGRADE STRAIGHT TO A MODERATE RISK (LEVEL 4 OUT OF 5) FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN, CENTRAL AND NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA, FAR NORTHEASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE, AS WELL AS EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS. THERE EXISTS THE POTENTIAL FOR GIANT HAIL (2.5″+) IN DIAMETER, AS WELL AS THE EXPECTANCE FOR A FEW TORNADOES ALONG A DRYLINE FEATURE DRAPED ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS. HOWEVER, WIDESPREAD DESTRUCTIVE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 80 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO ACCOMPANY A POTENTIAL DERECHO EXPECTED TO SETUP IN THE MID-LATE AFTERNOON TIME FRAME, BEFORE RACING SOUTHEASTWARD
