In ch. 1111, when we get the full shot of the Gorosei posted across from Luffy and his allies, the yōkai and the Giants appear around the same size.
i'm thinking, what if the powersource for the robot is not related with luffy's heart? let me explain: maybe since luffy is the liberator or (in other words) can make wishes come true, the moment he saw it and dreamt to see it moving and asked for it to Vegapunk and the moment he turns into Gear 5 his dreams and imagination in general become reality (like the terrain rubber or the baseball bit), everything become possible whith his power so it could be an explanation for it

But 9:39 to 17:01 I think that the robot could have also ate a devil fruit like Luffys mythical zoan or that teapot in wano and thief devil fruit had a mind so its own when awakened so the robot ate it during void century and when it was awake in Marijou it had remembered all its memories and the fruit awaken it could be possible
I think Joy boy is still alive but frozen and for a sec his heart beat set it off and the robot tried to free him because maybe his fruit was taken and he wasn’t actually mentioned that he was killed 😭👀

How about this theory. What if all those giants like Zunesha & the Ancient Giant robot that just woke up etc.. betrayed the original Joyboy 800 years ago. And once Joyboy had died, they too (Zunesha and other possible giants) were betrayed & punished for aligning with Joyboy in the first place. Thus becoming the ancient crime.

I would love to see the robot making a callback to the whole klabauterman topic we had with the going merry back in skypia! Maybe joyboy had a special connection to that robot that somehow put life into it and that's why it's connected to the heartbeat?
I think joyboy really did not fully awaken his power that's why he failed to give freedom to people (slaves).
Now luffy devil fruit is not his final form. In his current form luffy is showing joy, laughter etc representing the essence of joyboy. In my own opinion we will see a rage mode Luffy when someone he cares about dies or is seriously injured..

I somehow feel that each ancient being that we see might be the strawhats themselves. Frankly being the giant robot, zunesha being some strawhat who might have eaten an elephant based fruit and monkey d luffy being joyboy. It all feels connected
