Merry Christmas Beelz! I love this game!
I really like octave. Got a moon room on my first ever run with him and made it it Libra. The extra space is so helpful when you are trying to piece together enemy moves, especially with bosses. Just wish he would get some new lines. "Mother. . ." Gets old kinda quick.
A perfect Christmas present, only thing that would make this Christmas better would be if you TOOK THE DAMN WEEL FOR ONCE, anyways, continuing to love astral ascent, keep up with the weird energy!
Honestly I feel like attack speed is just the way to go for this game. There’s so many options for things to proc, even for basic attacks.
Glad you enjoy this game as much as I do. With your gambits, you generally want to try and match their type to the element of the spell (displayed in the upper right corner of the spell) as this gives the spell a bigger damage buff in addition to the gambit effect.

Thanks for showing me this game. About 7 runs in and it might be one of my favorite rogue lites ever. The way the combat flows is really nice. Who knew adding another double jump after the attack would make combat so much fun.
Apparently just keeping and upgrading him basic spells in going for massively amped stats on Octave is really strong. At a certain point the whole endeavor just becomes a bullet hell.
Couldn't help but buy this gem after your masterful videos on it!

5:13 why? You have 4 slots, it doesn't make you weaker and even if for some weird reason you still don't wanna take it, then just salvage it for stars.
Just fyi, the crysttal deposit can be mined twice and don't forget to recycle auras aswell👍🏻
Tbh, i think scorpio is the hardest boss… his attacks are full of tricks like: imma use my dodge to get out of the way of this and then you end up getting caught by something else… its unintuitive and that makes him hard as hell… the other attack i have some trouble avoiding is sagitarius ultimate with the arrow at the end… it seems too big that covers the dodge and i cant get away from it
Also day three of asking for thief boi with invisible knife+gunpowder+speedy bone (if possible) and crit sinergy

Beelz please, read the commands… you can salvage aura you don't want into stars. Beelz i think your game is bugged or not updated, you aren't receiving the fragments that are used to put modifiers in the runs and there has been an update these last few days with 13 new spells.
And remember that spells have elemental affinities, the Sol you had had a poison affinity, if you put poison gambits into it does more damage.

The First Area is the Three Earth Signs Sagittarius is a Fire sign, Your First area is Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Second Area will be Fire Signs which are Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Third are is the Water Signs, Which are Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, the Fourth area will end up being the Air Signs, Libra, Gemini and Aquarius.
Nice improvements between the last Octave run and this one, though it seems like the biggest challenge will be yourself for a while, given how dangerous Scorpio is!
However, Oct-grey-ve does look pretty nice, so I entirely agree with it fitting him, although the grey hair makes it look like he's wearing a hood. Nonetheless, another enjoyable visit to Libra, but I think she just focuses you down and wipes you out with one very clean strike!

I feel like attack speed is the best of the three upgrades. At least until you get around 6 of it or more. Attack speed increases damage over time for your normal attacks, but the main benefit is that it helps you recharge mana faster, since you need to basic attack ppl for mana. So faster attack speed = more mana over time = more frequent AOE crowd clearing with spells.
hey beelz your dash can also cancel your ground pound after certain distances and ontop of that it can be used to cancel landing frames out of the ground pound if you immediately do it while hitting the ground. Theres also the dash jump which increases distance, so if you apply a dash cancel out of ground pound you can then do the increased dash jump as an option which helps get out of fast situations like leos spin wheels.
Why are you not matching the elements of the gambit to the element of the spell? It gives the spell bonus damage.
