  1. Yeah Brother, Looks like another one 'followed you home' to add to the 'stable'. The body on it looks very solid and no rot underneath. You are truly blessed to be in the right place at the right time. Can't wait to see more inspection vids on it! Enjoy it Brother!

  3. Be curious to know if it has any stored codes. Ipr certainly needs to be addressed. If you have something that will show you live data you can check the vitals while cranking, see if its building oil pressure. Those cam driven hi-low pressure pumps are fun. The plunger can fall out of the bottom of the pump and ker plink all the way to the bottom of the oil pan, ask me how i know. You do have the nicer of the pto idle control boxes that were available. The basic one was basically just charge protect mode with no digital rpm display. Just started watching your videos, i came for the highboys, have several of those myself. Looking forward to seeing you getting this truck running.

  4. that thing is awesome. So practical and built for purpose. IMO a good cleaning and clean up the rust spots and just leave the truck the way it sits. So cool ! I like how they put the door straps in the limit the doors flying open, helps save the hinges. I know its low mileage but Id bet it would be double that with all the idle hours factored in. Either way itll run a long time probably

  5. By all means, please do film fixing up the old girl, if it is to your liking to do so. Wish to vicariously partake in the fun and get your take on repairing that Era of Ford Diesel

  6. Manual windows, door locks, 4wd shift lever, the only thing it's missing is the manual transmission like you stated. It's a nice truck show us all your work on it. Including getting it started. Your knowledge is remarkable!!

  7. Please show how to get it running correctly, l have a 1984 6.9 thats been sitting for twenty five years! I have forgotten everything l knew about how to bleed the injectors . Is there a way to lubricate the cylinders before turning it over? Looks like a great truck for here in Michigan ,good score.

  8. Thats another damn fine truck for your collection. Certainly nothing like what we have over here in the UK. For the curious among us though, whats a "slope truck"?
