No Man’s Sky was a mess when it launched in 2016. So looking at the game now in 2023, has it changed at all?
Well, that’s what I tried to find out in this video. Along with my friend Andrew, we flew as a duo and solo to see if you should play No Man’s Sky in 2023.

I have now sunk in 50+ hours into this game. It keeps showing new stuff. Please help me. My family hasn't seen me in days.
it's one of those games i can always pick up where i left off even after not touching it for awhile
No just go into the space station
no mans sky is a great game the systems and exploration are amazing I really hope that one day they make a game with no mans sky systems destiny 2 combat and starfeild graphics
i gonna give it a chance
Why are you lying… its still the same footage of mining the same shit over and over again… paid advertising… game is still trash.
And it's still $60 on steam
Funny that a space game from 2016 that had a horrible launch seems like a better time than Starfield in 2023.
was a day one nms defender it was hell for the first 6 months
The game looks incredible now tbh, certainly better than the mediocrity that starfield is shelling out in spades.
so starfield would be this good in 7 years ?
I tried this past week to try to enjoy this game and even after all of the updates it is still garbage
Playing Starfield for 30 hours really makes me want to go back to this game lol, Starfield is so bad for space exploration.
1 hour to do all that, sry but i doubt it, it took me two hours to finish the tutorial.
this is what starfield was hyped up to be
Found your channel through Asmongold and i'm glad i did!
I don't wanna be that guy, but you weren't doing the combat correctly lol.
Hold down the "S" key to lock onto your target. Makes shooting enemy ships MUCH easier without having to manually aim lol
I really wanna try this game in VR, not sure if it plays smoothly like heavily moded Skyrim VR, or clunky as fallout VR
Holy shit he’s so back
I feel that the experience of NMS is better than that of Starfield.
what would make the game good is if they toned down the number of worlds and made it a pvp full player driven eco with bosses on planets with rare drops ect
Starfield really makes you appreciate nms
Its still kind of boring.
When it first came out.. couldnt do 10 mins on the game.
I retried back in 21 and ended up beating the whole game and achieved platinum. Huge difference!
Games still boring af
why is everything in italics
That censor sound jfc man
I play this game a lot. The only weird thing I've had happen is multiplayer stuff like spawning problems and phasing ships. But I reckon they'll have that fixed in the next patch. Multiplayer is fairly new to the game, and I can only imagine the headache of not only AI-powering spawning but then putting that in a multiplayer server-side vs client-side context.
I think an important fact to mention in the beginning would be how the only reason the game got released when it did was because people were sending the dev death threats and stuff because they were so impatient. So when the game released it was incomplete and that was our fault as gamers. We need to hold our own more accountable.
If you don't accept the first freighter after you save them, you can use it to get any freighter you want
Tldr, don't accept the free freighter til you roll the type and class you want
I'm so happy what this game became
The biggest disappointment in gaming history to the biggest comback in gaming history
They should've waited a year or two
