  1. Thank you, Damon Bruce, you master of the sports, talk media, helping today’s generation I understand and appreciate what reporting on the latest stories need to be.

Unlike the direct of mainstream media, you’re giving us a history lesson appropriate for the audience who knows everything you’re talking about in terms of horrific NFL deals of the past in relation to this current story on Russell Wilson.

  2. When the Russell Wilson trade happened, I figured the Broncos did a nice job landing a QB that could really help them. I think most people probably agreed and I don't think anybody could have predicted how much Russ's skills would decline in such a short period of time except, perhaps, the Seattle Seahawks! They must've known something was up with Russ, and if I were the Broncos' management, I'd be feeling like they set us up with that trade. The Seahawks were definitely selling faulty goods and still asking a premium. Otherwise I don't know why they'd be looking to get rid of their franchise QB who did so much good for that team. This wasn't like Joe Montana going to the Chiefs or Tom Brady going to Tampa at the end of their careers. Russ was younger and, theoretically, should have had more good seasons in him. If I was Russ I'd probably just retire at this point. Surely he has enough money at this point.

  3. If Russ is willing to accept a backup role then the 49ers could potentially consider him.

If he still views himself as a Starter it might be interesting if the Vikings get rid of Cousins and bring in Russ and Draft a rookie as their future Starter.

  4. I put draft picks/trades under one roof.

Since 2007, the Raiders had the worst of the bunch with the JaMarcus Russell pick. And I'm a Raiders follower.

Thank you, Denver, for taking that crown now. Their deal for Russell is the worst by a mile.
