  1. So healers can't kill you, but you want an i win button against them. I really don't get it.

Why do you need the healer to be a guaranteed kill, when you won't accept that the healer is guaranteed to kill you.

  2. I get ur point for view but for us healers with PvP enabled it's so easy to get ganked while doing quest and get two hit and cc'd multiple times at once by different opponents in a group because they know u only can use life staff really for damage besides hatchet with Amber . It just annoying as well to die to tank and dps PvP together

  3. This game won't be balanced for 1v1 because its not ment to be… as you said, its not that effivient int wars and that matters the most. You can just attack the healer to fprce him to heal himself and his frontliners are lost at that point.

  4. I would rather see them fix the balance between the armor types by fixing that bug, and possibly buffing the bonuses too (+30% for light +15% for med, heck maybe even +40% / +20%)
pretty lame when everyone wears heavy for all roles and situations…

  5. I would be fine with it taking 5 or 6 dps to kill one healer as long as it takes 5 or 6 healers to kill my pure dps build.
Scrubs playing non skilled obvious op healing build which can also dps saying they need the survivability.
No you need to get into a group and have your teammates peel for you

  6. they should just reduce the healing you can do to your self after awhile becuase the big porblem lays in 1v1s cause right now In a 1v1 lifestaff requiers no skill at all

  7. 19 life staff users disliking lol
"This game is not balanced around 1v1" fallacy. Exactly, thats exactly the reason why life staff should be nerf on SELF-heals. Because the game IS NOT balanced around 1v1.
You want truck heals? ok take it, but NOT SELF-HEALS.

  8. I think the best way to fix this is to add healing reduction effects to thrust weapon skills. Musket shot that reduces healing received by 50% for 4 seconds or something is a great way to balance the pvp system since thrust weapons like the spear, musket and rapier are among some of the lower tier builds for large scale pvp.

  9. The game isn't meant to be a 1v1, a life staff that can sustain itself will eventually fall when the cool downs come. A lot of MMOs have healers that can 1v1 other classes because of how one dimensional a healer can be. When killing any self sustaining tank, time is a commodity for these kinds of builds. A life staff/heavy armor user will also take quite a long time to kill a heavy armor'ed enemy the difference is that the lifestaff will be able to sustain the damage taken.
    Changes are not necessary.

  10. Lmao all the hate i see from people is actually insane. If you have fun sitting ina circle basically being immortal just seems to me like an excuse cause you're bad. If you want to 1v1, do it in a fun way for both players. At the end of the day theres no reward for winning a duel, its supposed to be fun. And as term said no one has fun hitting a brick wall for 2 minutes. And i understand there's always a meta, but whatever u heavy armor life staffers are doing in duels is honestly sad to me, and i feel bad for ur lack of skills. LOL

  11. Paladin builds are good for pve though. Don't be mad at that. They already got nerfed before the game came out. But yes, they shouldnt be healing that much in a 1v1, they do need to implement a healing reduction during pvp

  12. The reason why I think this is such a fustrating build to go against is because it feels as if there is no counterplay. Or rather if there is, it requires a specifc niche build dedicated to killing lifestaff 1v1 on top of being an extremly skilled player. Compared to lifestaff can pretty much win in majority of the cases and the player not having to be extremly skilled.

  13. They do zero dmg too. I don’t rly like bringing up wow as an example but can’t think of anything better. A priest in wow can survive to any class for so long and beat some of them if the fight is drawn out. I don’t mind it, it is what it is. You guys think it would be better if they couldn’t take any dmg on top of not being able to deal any?

  14. So dpsers need to be able to kill but healers shouldnot be able to self heal ? (and no I am not a healer). Instead of whining, since it's a group DPS game, try using Hatchet's Infected Throw, works like a charm. Solved.

  15. People are complaining about fighting a healer because he is healing himself…rip.

They dont do much damage it just feels like they do damage because you want to use a glass cannon build which is High Damage with Low HP/Armor…thats youre fault of course his fucking heals are going to heal him THATS THE POINT. And that little bit of damage will add up if you just stay there and take it.

  16. I think its perfectly fine that healers cant die in a 1v1. And if you manage to get killed pretty much entirely by leftclick lifestaff attacks in a 1v1 then you sort of deserve it.
Why would anyone ever be a healer if you'd get wrecked in 1v1 situations? The balance point isnt that they should be killable. The balance point is that they shouldnt be killable and neither be able to kill you (again, unless your a dumbass who doesnt use a potfood or simply run away because you're fighting a healer…)
PS: Also, if people knew how to use their weapons at all, stuns etc, you can kill a healer who doesnt know how to use his heals properly. I know, because I keep getting killed in those situations while my friend who's a much better healer then me doesnt.
PSS: Heavy armor never were intended to have the healing output we currently see, its a bug causing this.
