New World MMO’s musket is a weapon that, when used correctly in certain scenarios, can be very deadly. Although CC is powerful in PvP, the musket provides underwhelming CC but makes up for it with incredibly high long-range damage. This build will provide you with the abilities and playstyle to be most efficient with the musket in every form of PvP, with emphasis on large scale combat.

With a mule to carry your ammo, musket is amazing.
I decided over year ago that i would be going for musket and then they added rapier which is now my backup melee weapon…
The build I'm going on is Powder Burn, Shooter's Stance and the bomb just to add something on the 3rd slot… though different passives that you have… like i will get the snipe and the other two long range sniping passives. I dont think back it up and hustle are that good in combat as if there is enemy within 8 meters of you, you likely should be switching to melee at that point… Musket is not a kiting weapon…
For Attributes I will be going full damage so 150 int and 300+ dex with light armor.
and yes the 300 dex passive is on 10 second cd.
Funfact (currently) : the 20% conversion makes the musket scale with 0.9% per int in pvp.
Also attributes have different value modifier.
0-100 attribute has 1.625x the value per point
300+ attribute has 0.79x the value per point.
To deal max dmg with the musket in pvp, you probably want to go hybrid dex/int.

btw the build is really bad. Remove the energy burst and get the lethal combo so you make it a little bit better.

I noticed that you use spear as your melee weapon. Would suggest it over rapier? Do you think spear synergies better with the musket than the rapier?
