So apparently we have new rumors, new rumors about Resident Evil Code Veronica and Resident Evil 0 are currently in development, RE9 being delayed and RE1 Re-Remake being fake. As always these are only rumors and i’m honestly feeling like there is an “info war” going on currently and it’s pretty wild. I honestly don’t know what to expect but we shall see in the coming days while summer game fest is almost here. i’d like to be wrong, but we shall see if we get anything involving Resident Evil 9. But who’s to say we won’t see something Resident Evil related?

I have a feeling that we gonna get a surprise reveal of Code Veronica. It’s a gut feeling but it has been talked about for so long, Capcom knows we want it, It’s been in development. And another reason why I think that is that Capcom has been firing on all cylinders since 2019 with RE2r, 2020 with RE3R, 2021 with Village, 2022? With shadows of rose, 2023 with RE4R and this year with separate ways. We’re gonna get something for 2025 and it’s going to be something that’s been in dev for a long time and something we’ve been asking for -> code V. This is extremely optimistic and hopefull on my part but if I’m correct, you owe me a cup of coffee

It seems a lot of the OG RE stans are overlooking the fact that the vast majority of the new school fans will not want to touch the old style games. The limitations go far beyond just accessibility. With that said, i welcome a capcom gamble.

Capcom themselves stated that 3 major titles will be releasing 2025 and will be expecting $1billion in 2025 and monster hunter wild alone won't make that.

Given Capcom's track record, I'd be shocked if they didn't announce anything related to Resident Evil at all.
I don’t think we are gonna see anything Resident Evil until the end of the year. Would love to be wrong
Re9 will be revealed & btw DanielRPK a leaker way more reliable than Dusk Golem who never got interested in Re says Re1 is in the works so I believe him instead of Dusk Golem
I also think they will announce Re9 separately from SH2 because it needs spotlight and would get outshined by Re

The thing is, and if anyone knows capcom, it's that they can't or won't resist essentially tying up the series in a neat little bow. Simply – and you can mark my words – a RE0, 1, and CV will happen eventually. The thing to mention is the games industry isnt in a good place to be churning out games of this quality with a quick turnover like precovid or even during lockdown during the gaming boom. Given that RE9 is reportedly delayed, this may be a reason why as to not juggle too much or require too much expectation to be managed along with hype. I'd much rather them take their time and get it right instead of causing headaches down the line.
It’s not gonna be there I’m almost certain capcom have confirmed that they are showing more monster hunter, it’s very rare a studio will show more than one game, I do think the next resident evil property will be revealed at the big Sony event rumoured for September or possibly Xbox showcase never know.
Didn't Dusk say Capcom started RE9 before or during Village, so just because its delayed, doesn't mean they cant show something.
