  1. Y’all wildin on Black Magic. People in the south will definitely appreciate the approach, the beat, the sample and that Memphis flow. Music fans should appreciate the message universally.

  2. Club records have always been considered sell out records, so why all of a sudden people think this is a fact club records makes you the goat? That’s hilarious.😂

  3. Magic is what NaS and Hit are delivering regardless.

To witness the Golden Child evolve in front of our eyes and ears is a beautiful thing.

No skips for me. My favs: Motion/Pistols/Office Hours

I like to listen to the album in this order better, though. Just flows better for me.

    Office hours
    Pistols
    Abracadabra
    Motion
    What it really means
    Bokeem Woodbine
    Ervin Magic
    Slow it down
    Black Magic
    Intro
    One mic

  4. It wasn’t bad. The only track I didn’t like was motion ( that song was a little awkward with the hook) and I didn’t care for the 21 savage track. I don’t think Nas is going to end on this.

  5. Gonna spend the next week listening NAs and Black Milk records, but Motion is probably my favourite song off the first listen. Beat is crazy, Nas's flow and the pockets he finds are crazy! I agree with the the Little Brother/Nas comparison and take. Hitboy is the right producer for Nas right now, people need to accept it. Hitboy's production doesn't fit into a box and I think that's better for Nas – helps him sound modern and its keeping him hungry and innovative.

  6. What Nas is currently doing right now is unprecedented. He has just dropped two albums that are eligible for album of the year this Grammy cycle. I have a hunch that he’ll drop KD4 within this Grammy cycle. And I truly believe that he’ll have a Hov feature on KD4. He owns Mass Appeal, the label that he and Hit Boy have dropped all these projects on. And Nas has a relationship with HOV to make it happen.

  7. I played abracadabra 3 times b4 i listened to the rest of the album. Jus off the top abracadabra office hours an black magic is my favorites, just off the beats an nas flow alone. I heard nas lyrics, i knew he was spittn, but i didnt dive deep into it yet. I heard the album 3 times, but not how i wanted to cuz im on vacation. I need my car system

  8. Nas and hit boy are done they should never make another album together again the made history but this album should be the last one the beats are ok at best let’s keep it a buck… they did what they were supposed to they ran it into the ground..
this had nothing to do with hit boy it a sound people are looking to recapture that’s it .. the problem with Nas is his rhythms are far more superior than a subpar beat that’s it’s

  9. Nas is the greatest to ever touch the mic untouchable aint no debate. for some people if its not "Illmatic 2" its bad. I loved this project and came in with an open mind. But i really hope what he said in abracadabra is true something like " while you listening to this we are half way done with the next project" and this was just a taste. The greatest to ever do it. 🐐

  10. Magic 2 it's a classic to me. Nas has stepped his game up as well as Hit-Boy. Magic 1 took me sometime to like it but Magic 2 I got it on 1 listen. Nas is on another level right now and it will take sometime for others to digest this amazing album. Also, people can stop saying that Nas doesn't have any party joints. Earvin Magic Johnson, Bokeem Woodbine & Black Magic are bangers.

  11. I know since hearing a snippet of 50 on M2 I been streaming his music crazy probably like many others wanting to hear more of that hard shit that hip hop is lacking. Thus the title “ Office Hours” this is what you get when you put 2 geniuses together

  12. I believe that Magic 2 will be the best selling album of the run. What Nas and Hit have done here is reach for multiregional soundscapes…and they succeeded. Black Magic and Magic Johnson are exactly the type of vibes that many non east coast listeners love. There are many styles represented here and they're all well done. If I have one criticism it is that there's less of a central theme in comparison to KD III or KD III. However, on it's own it's a dope album. They still haven't missed.

  14. I’m liking the album more and more after first being like, eh…. I’m also starting to realize from listening to Nas’ different albums they all have the illmatic format they’re all a form of illmatic. Illmatic ,QB, and Nas are 1 and the same thus every album is that.

  15. What were they expecting? ."…Same Old Tricks"???
Magic 2 was created based on Magic Theme from the lines to the instrumental…..something new something different but resonantes /switching between old nas and new nas (hence the album cover)
Aoty for me….i had to keep going back to play the whole album yearning coz I enjoyed it…needed so many listen to register the beat and the rhymes in my head…..unlike magic 1… THE DIFFERENCE IS THE MAGIC💪

  16. I've been a Nas supporter all my life since 93. I absolutely love it. I don't compare his works. I'm on listen 8 to Magic🪄🪄. It's phenomenal. I'm blown away. Bokeem Woodbine and Motion are probably my favorite but at the same time I really love this project. Wow 💯💎

  17. At this point, I want Nas to do a full Premo album just so people can stfu about it. It’s annoying at this point. Day one fans hold on to dear life to nostalgia. Just give them what they want so we can move on already and if it’s dope then cool, another trophy to add to the collection. If it’s not it, then people like me will be there to say “nope… keep that same energy. This is what you wanted”
