  1. That "fatness is not the resume of trauma"… OMG! So much wrong in that! I sure miss the 1990s when we were out helping fat people to live healthier lives and be encouraging towards one another and healthy was not a phobia. 😵🤷🥺 Sure… some people are nasty about it, but overall in the 1990s there were support groups for people with food addictions and eating disorders were taken seriously and we helped each other out. There were even documentaries teaching people especially young folks, "Don't use food to cope with trauma. You don't want to be like me bed ridden and losing a foot." Most of these medical documentaries on the dangers of obesity and poor eating habits would be seen as Nazi propaganda or something by the Gen Z people. 🤦

I understand that some people are built differently and not everyone can look like a model even if they ate under 500 calories and overexercised for 6 hrs straight (I know this because I tried and I was still overweight at 124 pounds). As a Hispanic woman from farming family heritage, I am suppose to be a powerhouse that can lift 200 pounds of water between a lake/river to the house to do the things needed done. No woman weighting under 90 pounds can carry 200 pounds of water around. Look at the old photos of 1800s, those women were muscular powerhouses, not skinny twat twigs nor massive jabba the huts… just normal looking women. Our society is so messed up right now over how we ought to look, we forgotten about being healthy.
