  1. I'll never understand why Sam shit-talks Kerry Coombs so much. Coombs was being told to run Day's defense and had his hands tied. It's akin to rich rod insisting on running a 3-3-5 in the Big Ten then blaming Robinson when it didn't work.

  2. This was a cleaner more efficient win than 42-3. Three drives three scores — one self sack in the first half. Nothing for IA. If not for the backwards fumble (that was much like but not as bad as the MD fumble) it’s a shut out. And even that took a penalty, fumble, bad punt and 3rd and 22 conversion.

    That fumble was a big mistake. Need that cleaned up for all xSU’s.
