The following documentary “Missions That Changed the War – the Doolittle Raid”, discusses the Doolittle Tokyo Raid which took place on April 18, 1942 following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor at the beginning of World War II. The raid was planned by, led by, and named after Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle (later a General in the US Army Air Forces and the US Air Force Reserve).

Narrated by Gary Sinise and originally seen on the Military Channel, it includes 4 Episodes describing the historical events and the “Doolittle Raiders” that risked their lives in 1942. This series was produced by Sleeping Dog Productions and Athena in 2010.
