Oh no another chance for people to jump off titles. The creatives I’ve seen so far make this an immediate skip!
Geesh I really need to drop Marvel.
I hate that I'm getting here.
Jed McKay's Moon Knight is "good" in that it's a 616 (not mini series in a 80s/90s pocket universe) 2020s Marvel book that isn't offensively bad. But put up against all comics ever, not just current monthly comics, it sucks.
I thought they'd tie this whole event after all the vampires that Moon Knight killed with holy water in #18 but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Since Moon Knight is "dead" and Hunters Moon seems to be taking his spot in the event, I may look into a Hunters Moon one shot, but the overall event I don't really care about it.
You don't understand serialized storytelling (Tom Brevort somewhere probably) .
Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you, Jim.
No.
Bryan Hill on Blade has been good. I hope he's writing some of the issues. Strange not to see Morbius in there. Or the midnight sons for that matter. But there's bloodline. 😐 bullcrap
Dc vs Vampires already happened man. Marvel and DC are just trading ideas.
52 was a year long event by DC, and it was a huge success. It does not matter the format of event, the writing and execution are the keys.
The last time I went all in on an event was DC's Death Metal, and I vowed after reading all those pointless one-shots, to only pick up the main event books. After Knight Terrors, Beast World, & Gang War, I'm digital reading and/or trade waiting.
You know there is that 1 die hard blade fan that collects everything blade related. And even they would be like "MOTHER (BEEP)ER" at the amount of tie ins they are going to be collecting
Sounds like a detail of the entire schedule like night terrors
Hey, Jim!!
How about this Dudd Hunt?!?!?! Er uh…Blood Hunt..? …nah…Dudd Hunt… 😞
Hope you’ll review all of Blood Hunt (including the tie-ins) this upcoming Summerween, Jim. I’m rooting for you.
Lots of emptys calories as usual lame vacuous cash 💰 grab ! I dropped Dr Strange with I0! General Strange is sooooo lame ! As it is I only pick up Captain America and Hulk, if their business model is to drive off readers! Mission accomplished! These assclowns continue to just pull stuff outta their assets ! Absolutely rudderless and I have no intention to pick up any this crap ! Very unfortunate and the light at the end of the tunnel is a semi truck!🤡🚽🎯
All filler books to keep the editors' friends employed while doing a cash grab until the X-Men reboot. I may want to pick up some of the X-Men related tie-ins as long as they are not being written by Ben Percy, Gerry Duggan, any female writer under age fifty, or either of the two "Steves".
I'm hype for it, but will only buy the core series. Same as I do for every crossover. Pepe Larraz art is worth the cover price alone, & then vampires in the 616 are usually pretty fun.
I remember when Fear Itself kicked Marvel into its permanent event state, Axel Alonso dropped a quote that went something like "Readers don't want continuity, they want CONNECTIVITY." If I ever meet Alonso again, the second thing I'll ask him, after "C'mon, seriously, what did Daniel Way have on you?" is "What the f does that even MEAN?"
