Making A Galaxy To Ignore My Responsibilities | Full Modded Playthrough Stellaris 3.3

Been a rough week, so much so I’ve decided to shun the Galaxy and make my own! Lathrixian Galaxy is best galaxy, confirmed by 9 out of 10 xenos. Just try and get me to do the housework now I’m in my own galaxy!

  1. Yeah so there are a few editing mistakes, had a long week of travel to care for family and staggered both recording and editing. Between that and a few hours of sleep this week.. it's been a bit rough. One example being the flusion states + origin location events being repeated as I had a few takes trying to read It 'well' and managed to slip both sets of takes in by mistake, so that large section basically repeats! This was all after double checking the video multiple times, whoops!!

Sorry about that, will try my best to avoid it in the future and will be using the YouTube editor to remove these segments (will take a day or so!).

Really hope you all enjoy regardless, less tired and mentally exhausted Lathrix in the future!

  2. I need someone to make some sort of megalomaniac mod for Stellaris. I.E., there are multiple galaxies connected through hyperlanes so I can do a conquest on a universal scale lol

  3. More interaction!

Really, I eventually watch most of these videos, but i need to find a time in the week where I can fit in watching the whole 2-3 hours in a sitting because that's how i like to watch them.
Does that still wreck the channel for ya?

  4. 19:27 Surprised no-one seems to have brought this up, but this event chain with the "scarlet scourge" seems to be a reference to Fallout New Vegas, specifically the Dead Money DLC. In that DLC, a casino and its attached villa have been shrouded by a toxic red mist simply called "the cloud" that was created by a group of mad scientists as an experiment. It kills living tissue as well as corrodes nonorganic materials, and is very difficult to see through. Moreover, there is no protection against it, as even advanced hazmat suits are either corroded or penetrated by it.

  5. "the moons are possessed" no, you need to allow the ships that were jumped in to fly to the star of the system, as it is part of the script that allows them to jump there, you just have to let them do that forced action to get back full control

  6. Until you finish reality code dig site another won`t spawn meaning you gonna waste time spawning more systems risking spawning leviathans in those.
You can have entire even chain finished in 15+ systems leaving lots of place for special systems like this big juicy black hole for brich world.
And if you have lots of mods that spawn systems after game start you want to keep that to minimum since playing 2000 stars galaxy is much more stable then playing 1000 star galaxy with anoter 1000 start spawned after galaxy generation.

  7. Planets in those EHOF systems are weird. I’ve found more Ringworlds than I have actual planets I think.

Of course in my newest play though I started with a second habitable planet in my home system, so who knows lol

  8. Origin kinda reminds me of the Cricket race from Hitchhikers Guide. Developed in a nebula, thinking they were alone in the universe. When they found out everyone else existed, their first thought was, “Well, that’s gotta go.”

  9. I always wondered how it would be if the galaxy map was all comprised of constellations, and the different clusters weren't connected through hyperlanes.
You'd have to develop jump drives, wormhole travel or gateway technology before you could physically interact with other empires, though with a good enough sensor range you could contact your next door neighbor early.
This change would lengthen the early game and save all the excitement after the first empire acquires the mean to travel between clusters, or you could have a much more personal feud with another empire if you happen to be in the same cluster as someone else.

  10. You know, when you strip your fleets down at the star,t why do you not remove the hyperdrives? That gets an extra 13ish alloys per ship, so thats about 39 alloys you're giving up.
