Host Bryan Kreutz, welcomes, “Chip” Selstad, the consulting producer from their TV series “A Captain’s Log” to join him reviewing Star Trek: The Next Generation DVD disc three. Episodes reviewed, rated, and ranked are “The Battle” a group of Ferengi present Captain Picard with the derelict remains of his old starship the Stargazer, Picard begins to lose himself in the past. The next episode reviewed is “Hide and Q” when Q returns to the Enterprise-D, he tests Commander Riker by giving him the power of the Q. Riker then offers Picard and the bridge crew their wish that he can grant them with this power. The next episode reviewed is “Haven”, Tensions rise as Counselor Troi’s arranged marriage nears, and her mother takes a liking to Captain Picard. Meanwhile, a plague ship, a Tarellian starship, threatens planet Haven where the Enterprise and Tatellians are meeting.
and the final episode reviewed is “The Big Goodbye” Captain Picard, Dya, Dr.Crusher and Whalen get stuck on the holodeck, one crew member is stuck there with a critical gunshot wound. Meanwhile Riker in command must ensure the rescue of Picard and team from the Holodeck as the Jarada insist on speaking only to Picard in a crucial diplomatic mission.
