  1. How has the reliability of those Hyundai/Kia dual clutches been lately? My brother had a first gen Veloster Turbo with it and had nothing but problems with the transmission and then you guys were overheating them, albeit offroading. My parents are wanting to get something fuel efficient, possibly hybrid, but gun shy of recommending any of the Hyundai/Kia dual clutches.

  2. Good to have you back Natan, glad things with your foot went well.
Bad bad audio this time fellas. Bad placement of the microphones on your shirts. Love the Santa Cruz though, my wife and I wanted one but they didn't have any available in our area when we needed to get our second vehicle so we ended up with a Tuscon SEL instead.

  3. Nathan, I know exactly which dealer is that in Van Nuys because I live about 12 miles away, just want to say that I purchased a brand new 2022 Mercedes GLB 250 for my wife and paid $3500 below MSRP, so good dealers are out there they are few but do exist.

  4. I think you will love the Hyundai they have the best warranty hands down, I've had two Santa fe sports 2.0 Turbo I loved that suv I just traded it two days ago for a new 22 GMC canyon we needed a truck. now if Hyundai would make a real truck it would not been a thought I would have bought a Hyundai truck if it was a real truck Hyundai is a great company but they need to build a real off road Truck, but my wife is going to buy her another suv soon and you can bet its a Hyundai she really likes the Kona we rented one and we loved it it was AWD drive with a turbo its a bit on the small side but this thing even in the Mountains of WV we got 30-34 MPG

  5. I would compare this with the Santa Fe more than with the Tucson because of the shared turbo powertrain on the Cruz & Fe, but strangely the Santa Fe with the same engines tow less (2000 & 3500 vs 3500 & 5000), which is too bad.

  6. Those ridiculous dealer $1,500 addendum stickers sent me walking. I saved $3,200 by shopping online versus taking a deal from my locale Toyota dealer this past year. He had a mandatory $1,500 addendum, full MSRP and a $1,000 dealer fee. I went to the local Hyundai dealer to look at their vehicle and it was the same deal. By going online and driving an extra 40 miles I was able to get my Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid for $1,500 off MSRP, no BS addendum crap and the dealer fee was $800. Some dealers think people are freaking idiots. Sadly, some are.

  7. My choice would be the Maverick. But I can go with the Santa Fe. Because it has some pluses. I don’t like the grill. But I like the tail lights. I like the under bed storage compartment. I like the automatic in the base motor. Glad to see Nathan again .

  8. Welcome back, Nathan! I purchased a NA Santa Cruz SEL with the activity package and love it. I have a family with 3 younger kids, and the back still works for them. The OE bed cover came in handy on our last summer weekend trip down to Orlando…. It’s a great vehicle!
