The Game Freak leaks are almost as cool as the playable demos of Gold/Silver from SpaceWorld 1998. Almost. So many interesting beta designs in there. What happened to the shark with the anchor tail? That thing is AWESOME.
GameFreak is just frightened that they ahve to put effort into their next game because of people flocking to PalWorld. They delivered stuff pokemon fans have been waiting for for ages. They are like "lets bully out any competition so that we can still make minimal effort games and still sell them for millions to that stupid kids!"

Typhlosian was my first ever starter as a kid perhaps that explains a few things about me
So… Many of the stories revolve around Typhlosion, Ursaring, Rapidash, Octillery, Lapras, Slakoth, even… Arceus.
Yes. Even Arceus. That Arceus, the God of the Pokemon world. Fucked a human.
Imagine this. Arceus, called Aus here, is wandering the world as a woman trying to see the world mortals live on through mortal eyes and gets injured on a mountain stranded. A man comes along to rescue her and brings her to his home. Her wounds are rather rough and it needs a long time to heal. And… they fall in love, and Aus has twin children birthed in the mans home while she stayed with him.
She explains that these two will save the world one day from a fragment of herself that cant be controlled, and reveals herself to be a deity, then disappears promising to repay him.
Years later, the twins see what Aus spoke of, a titan falling to the world intending to eradicate life. In an effort to protect his children, the man is brutally and fatally wounded, enraging the twins.
They transform into two dragons, Dialga and Palkia, known then as Ea and Eia, gods of Time and Light (changed to space). Ea grows pure blue diamonds while Eia creates pure pink pearls, then blasts the titan into space forever.
As the man lay dying, Aus returns after so many years, promising to repay his kindness. His soul leaves his body and Aus splits it into three pieces: Uxie Mesprit and Azelf, known for their power of Knowledge Emotion and Will. While formidable on their own, the trio can calm an upset Ea and Eia, no matter the circumstance, like a loving father calming their child.
The trio of spirits hides in blessed lakes, Ea and Eia scatter across the universe through time and space keeping the universe stable, and Aus returns to the Hall Of Origin, confident that the universe is safe under the protection of the fruit of its love.
So yeah. Its honestly a cool story.
Oh and if your wondering where Giratina, the third dragon in the Creation Trio, was in this story, yeah uh he wasnt designed along with Dialga and Palkia storywise. Later, he would be described as Pokemon's Devil.
I think this was for the manga, which has stuff like Jessie Arbok getting killed by Ash's Charmeleon because it literally slashed up Arbok too pieces. The manga has some wild stuff and this is rather tame compared too the manga. Also I liked too point out there is three different levels for the manga, inferno, spicy and tame. The tame is more aligned with the show which has it's own versions, there was the Red vs Blue show that went darker. But I am going too just treat this as a fanfiction.

the difference between the rival system in SOM and the pokemon catch system, is that SOM is specific about it's implementation.
when you fight a "rival" that "rival" was generated from time 0, and evolves with you, with the game… so, you're fighting the collection of the results of your actions, which is the simplest implementation ever: on event, save result to a log.
you can't patent the action of saving anything anywhere, but you CAN patent the way in which that data is shared and processed.
fighting this or that enemy out of the lot, depends on the processing of that data not the saving itself.
Nintendo is trying to claim the action of throwing an item, generically, which you can't do…. WHICH!, Palworld can simply dismiss by stating "oh, WE didn't develop this, we merely took the action from the engine itself. We only programmed the story and content. The gameplay is all built over existing tech."
….and existing tech, is generic…. it can't be patented after the fact.
