  1. This video is perfect timing actually, I was considering reading the SSC2 prepubs but it's been too long since I read the first one that I've already forgotten most of them. Hopefully this one does well enough for the Fanbook videos to actually happen.

  2. Theae short stories are great for showing us all these little interactions and that the world still turns when Rozemyne isn't there. It also puts her weirdness into perspective with the rest of the world.

  3. I really love your Bookworm content and I'm wondering as we get closer to the end of Bookworm if you've chosen what light novel series you will do next. I've been really liking Apothecary Diaries and that's what I would vote for personally.

  4. 14:15 That book is worth way more than an entire season of work for the household. It's more like a year. And if you count the living expenses to buy rent and food, then with what is left, it would take them multiple years to buy a single of those books…
Gunther, as a gate captain, so a relatively high position, only gets 3 large silvers in a season of work. Effa certainly gets paid less, and same for Tuuli. She's not getting paid the price of the hairpins…

  5. Rihyarda's POV is interesting in showing how her personal neutrality, as far as factions feud goes, twisted her understanding. She should, otherwise, have understood that, obviously, it simply wasn't possible for Sylvester to discuss imprisoning his mother with his retainers ( even if the fault ultimately lies with him being lazy and having done absolutely nothing to distance his mother's crownies from his entourage, something he won't even do years after he imprisoned his mother, Rozemyne had proved to him just how incompetent his overall retinue truly is and Damuel ( a layknight, no matter how good at paperwork he can be, meaning Sylvester's archscholars didn't even bother to hide their misgivings all that much… on paperwork which ends in Aub Ehrenfest's hands, talk about confidence and lack of respect ) sniffed out long time embezzlement ).

Well, I wouldn't take Lamprecht's view of Oswald's, or anyone else's for that matter, thought process at face value ;). It's clear as day that Lamprecht is pretty subpar, as far as his household goes, being, by far, the less skilled in pretty much anything out of all the Linkbergs. His own view of Oswald notably doesn't take into consideration the mad devotion Wildumb's head attendant has towards Veronica and his absolute faith in the FVF's mindset. For instance, while Lamprecht considers Oswald nice to let him resign if he so wished, he doesn't realize that, in fact, Oswald is doing all he can to get rid of anyone who's not a Veronica's devotee in his charge's retinue, and Lamprecht in particular since he's Rozemyne's brother ( all the more since Oswald, being so faithfull in the FVF's mindset, is eagerly eating all this " family " bullshit that Veronica used her whole life to hide her absolute selfishness and egotistic mindset ). Oswald is intensely delusional and is, and will continue to be, sure that he can reinstall Veronica in her tyrannical throne ;).

Ah, Lady Jonsara, you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you ? Don't you realize that your son won't even be baptized by the time Lady Philine will be able to take your sorry asses ( yours, your husband's and those of the lump of flesh which exited from your uterus ) out of HER estate and in the gutter ? No matter how unpleasant it would have been for you, you never had any other choice but to butter up your step daughter, no matter what…

  6. It's crazy how Charlette has all these political goals while Rozemyne is just oblivious to politics. She really doesn't get it at all. Doesn't get how important it is to everyone around her while she just accidentally waltzes to the top, trampling everyone else, while wearing blinders.

  7. Fanbook 6 – 8 are not out yet in English and Fanbook 9 and SS3 is being released end of this year in Japan… I doubt that all Fanbooks be in English by the time you finished with Volume 12 and SS3 so in 4-5 months 🙂

  8. I was waiting for this review

My daughter is a criminal is terrible in my opinion. It contradicts what happened in the actual book. And it also tells everyone how powerful she is before the incident in the temple. Her parents would not have been surprised about what had happened in the temple after this incident.
In the book, they were frightened of her, but they couldn’t quite figure out why.
She was light crushing them, but only enough to make them afraid. They had no way to know that she could actually hurt them. But hey, it looks could kill.
