Let’s just have some fun and express our opinions. These are just my opinions and could be wrong. I am trying to both have fun, joke around, and not be too serious. I understand this update is both good and bad for many in the KDM fan base.

Unless there is no way to use surge for whatever reason if your right about that glass cannon mega card then it would be pretty easy to kill the monster by surging during the monsters attack breaks.
I guess my main question is how much is still left to do for the Kickstarter. Assuming Gamblers Chest is done, how much more was promised, and how long is it going to take?
The secret fighting art text of 'rules that use action' seems like it should let you use weapons, shouldn't it? That is the most generic way to say that that you can use, it feels like that even gives you a choice of attack vs block for a shield. It would be weird to have that kind of gear grid restriction and not let it work with the bow / katar here that add abilities to adjacent gear spaces. Also, good on them for selecting 'gear grid spaces' and not 'pieces of gear' so that you can't leave two of those spaces empty and get the activation on the same item every turn.
I am curious if there will be a shield with an add on effect like that. I suppose either way these effects make wounding with a shield for proficiency easier, which could be nice, but maybe not too relevant for coming from a LY20+ monster.
You may not want to pair them but maybe it not like the lion Katars but like the lion knight claws where you make 2 different katars that can be paired and both have different effects

Stick the Scourge Claw (paired or not!) next to F+T in bottom left to help get F+T proficiency…?
Nice to see this update, this armor kits are better and better.
Also did you see on the news that KDM is going to do a collaboriont with Shadow Hearts spiritual successor Penny Blood ?, I would love to hesr your thaughts on it.
The griffon skull on the armor could be from juvenile Griffons. It said they are living on the cliffs I think, so makes sense there could be juveniles nearby.
Watched this video the other day, but popped back in to say I'm continuing to appreciate the content 🙂 Pencils down is weirdly a big and not so big step, since the last few months they have been "down" but it's nice to hear right from the horses mouth that it's really just print things. And wave four is looking fire. I'm late to the party but something tells me I have plenty of time to figure out what I want from wave 4
