“I’m just doing what I hope someone would do for me.” Rob and Syreeta met while working in Hong Kong – but their lives were quickly turned upside down when Rob suffered a life changing brain bleed. Would he even remember Syreeta when he woke up? Rob had to learn everything again, talking, walking, how to kiss – but together they’re confident that love and laughter has and will get them through.
Love Against The Odds is a new digital series that celebrates and shines a light on love stories across the UK. These couples have overcome prejudice, trauma, struggles and misunderstanding show that even when the odds are stacked against them, love can conquer all.

  3. I'm sad this happened to Rob but so so thankful God sent him such a wonderful, WONDERFUL loving spouse who was ready to care for her husband and no give up on him. She created and keeps creating for him a safe, loving home and pushing him to not give up by making him feel wanted and worthy. Both have been blessed with a healthy adorable child. Syreeta you are amazing.
