  1. I like JoJo Doomam LB from Nebraska with pick 86.Romeo Doubs WR University of Nevada Reno is another player at 86 I would be happy with.As far as RT goes I am betting on the coaching staff rolling the dice on Leatherwood.

  3. I'm going to comment as the video plays. I doubt Kinnard from Kentucky will be there at #86. If he is then he very well could be the pick. Sean Rhyan from UCLA would be a good consolation prize. He really impressed me at the Combine. I know people will freak out when I say this, but the new staff likes Brandon Parker for a power blocking scheme they will install this year. I'm just saying that if they think he will have a breakout year, RT may not be the pick at #86. A guy we could get in R4 is Kinnard's teammate, Dare Rosenthal. He is an outstanding athlete and when he gets his whole game together he will be a best. 6'7" and 327.
If CB is the #86 pick, I really like Tariq Castro-Fields from Penn State. He shut down both Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson this year. They only got 20 yards total and no TDs against him. He can contribute from day one. My thought on #86 is take BPA. A difference maker at any number of positions could be huge this year. My dark horse is Virginia TE Jelani Woods. We have been HORRIBLE in Red Zone efficiency the last few years. We need a guy who can open up the End Zone. At 6'7" he fits that bill and has already shown he can be that kind of threat. Carr is very good with the fade pass and Woods would be unstoppable in the End Zone.
Round 4. Mathis will not be there in R4 and probably not when we pick in R3. Besides, we need a true NT. We were one of the worst teams in the NFL last year defending the goal line against the run. The guys we have can't get it done. We need one of the big guys, but we don't have to reach for one in R4. Most of these guys will be there in R5. Even if we take an OL player in R3, I can easily see the team taking a versatile OL guy in R4 just to provide depth and insurance going into this season. I see a bunch of guys who can fit the bill and it all depends on who the coaches like best. OT Obina Eze of TCU, OG Justin Schaffer of Georgia, OG/T Thayer Munford of OSU, OT Braxton Jones of S Utah and others could be in play. If not, there are some good CB prospects in R4.
Round 5. Yes, here is where we can take a difference maker at RB. There are some good ones this year to pair with Jacobs. I really like your pick, and would add Utah's Tyler Allgeier who is faster than critics claim. There's a bunch of guys I Iike so i will be happy with the guy the new staff thinks will fit the system. A speedy WR makes some sense, but honestly, I can see the team waiting for the UDFA list to come out to go after a RB and a speedy WR. That's just my suspicion. I would look for S help with Miami's Bubba Bolden who is versatile and fits what our new DC is looking for. There are also more OL guys we could look at. I am intrigued by Arkansas T Myron Cunningham. 6'6" and 325. The Draft network says he is best as a developmental RT for a power scheme. Terrific athlete with excellent length who held up to SEC pass rushers on the left side. He's a guy who could become a long-term solution on the right.
Round 7. If we want more OL depth, there are some interesting OG guys who may be there, and my fave is Chris Paul of Tulsa. Cade Mays won't be there in R7. I would like him in R5 if we get other guys to fill needs before his pick. If we passed on Woods in R3 for a Red Zone TE, I like Curtis Hodges of AZ State. 6'8" and 257. Had some health issues and is still raw, but is fast for a TE, so like Waller he is a big seam threat and a huge Red Zone target. Also, if they want to draft a RB, Oklahoma's Kennedy Brooks would fit for us since he was in a RB rotation at OK and that's what we will use. I think he's underrated. Balanced, good vision, keeps his legs moving, gains those extra yards.
Again, other than securing the offensive line, what I'm looking for is answers to our biggest needs for next year and that's Red Zone efficiency in scoring TDs and stopping the other team from scoring TDs. Our two big weaknesses must become strengths.

  4. Need to address that Right Tackle spot. Please don't use 86 on anything else get that Tackle there are a few that could help improve that line

  5. My question about Edwards is can he get open. He wasn't given opportunities for jump balls (which I have no doubt he can do) but he simply wasn't targeted enough to see if he can make people miss. We know he can run through people. Carr just wasn't feeding him so it's likely he's simply not getting open. He's made things happen late in games when people aren't expecting him to get the ball. Worst case he simply can't run routs, I mean he's been friends with Renfrow since childhood, you would think they work on routs together. IDK but he is still young just going to year 3 and people forget it actually takes a couple years for WRs to develop we are just spoiled by having 2 of the deepest WR drafts in ages which leads to a couple guys having early success. Took Mike Williams a long time to have the type of season he had last year.

  6. Come on Sanjit, we don't need a running back this year. Too many other positions of need, fix that line. If your saying we don't keep Jacobs, which I think we should drop drake before Jacobs. We can get another back next year, we don't need to take one this year.

  7. I would like the Raiders to check out Bo Melton in the later rounds he has 4.3 speed which is pretty good speed and seems to have that dog too. Would be nice to pick him up if he don't get drafted also.

  8. Guys I think we need to stop beating a dead horse. For some odd Fkn reason they feel the OL can be coached up šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø I pray šŸ™šŸ½ they make me a believer.

The way itā€™s looking, I wouldnā€™t be surprised if they draft a DB or TE.

  9. I just don't see a realistic RT starter being available at 86, unless Abraham Lucas somehow falls, with his high floor but low ceiling – no one else is likely to be better in year 1 than Good, Eluemunor or Leatherwood. I think we should be looking at a raw athlete in the later rounds to sit and learn and maybe play next year – we shouldn't feel like we have to use our top pick on another bad starting RT, just because what we have now isn't great, especially when we can get a quality rotational starter at most of the other positions (particularly LB and Safety).
Edit – Braxton Jones later is exactly what I mean.

  10. Goedeke – are you sure he's not also a Guard with those 32 1/4" arms?? He's going to struggle to "set up and throw those punches" when the pass rushers all have 2" of reach on him.

  11. Brian Robinson Jr – don't mind the pick, but we already have bruisers – what about adding some speed, with Pierre Strong Jr. ? Also like Pierce but can't see him making it to the 5th – he's a 4th round target like Robinson if we want him.

  12. Sanj hear me out.. I heard Carr bring up foster when speaking on the reason he saved money on his deal for other players extensions and bringing other players in. I want to keep Waller fasho BUT with no 1st and 2nd round picks and only 5 total.. why is no one speaking about trading Waller for picks (saves /opens more cap present and long run) Give foster the same contract Waller currently has or a lil less.. Isiah Likely came in for a visit.. take the young athletic tightend.. I think this could be a real possibility with us getting Adams and having Renfrow. Foster has showed upside also.. lmk what you think mane

  13. I dont see us taking a CB at all, too much depth there. Mullen Ya Sin Hobbs Averett Phillips Robertson i think those 6 make the 53 man roster if you ask me and i think Robertson only sees the field if Hobbs were to get hurt at slot CB. i think in the 3rd and 4th round in either order we go OT and DT. the rest of the picks are for depth.

  14. i disagree on Jacobs we need to give him his 5th yr option nxt offseason if he has a solid season with no injuries. The nxt offseason the priorities are Waller and Jacobs i think Renfrow will get done this offseason.

  15. I think this front office is too smart to pay Josh Jacobs big money. He never proved to be special & a consistent game changer like a Dalvin or Jonathan Taylor or Derrick Henry who are the only Rbs Iā€™d even think about paying big money for as they literally keep their teams competitive. Not too mention he canā€™t stay healthy a full season. Iā€™m all in getting a good sturdy between the tackles runner with one of our picks. Definitely choose all of our pay catchers over Jacobs in terms of money.

  16. I agree with you – OT and OG – and DT – are first needs –
    Kinnard is a great pick
    Goedeke is a great pick
    Marcus Jones – is a great pick – and a 4.3 40 !
Ed Ingram – is a great pick – And – if someone gets hurt – he's a guard
Mathis – looks like a good pick
I'd pick Jacobs over any draft RB including Robinson
    Future Center ? YES ! – Jurgens …
NO – we don't need another RB – pay Jacobs more but maybe not 12 M
Yes – a super fast WR Danny Gray 4.3 40 – but there are faster ones… don't we have one already ?
    Braxton Jones ?
Markquese Bell – safety – sounds good – and rushes and sacks QBs
Justyn Ross ? I don't think he's a TOP pick for the limited picks we have
    Mays ?
