  1. This song is such an imposition on listeners. It's such a depressing song with no antidote, no melody to lift the lyrics. Stick to your diary with this stuff, Jason. Spoken by someone with first hand knowledge of depression, my own, my mother's, and my suicided brother. Give me "Circle the Drain" by Soccer Mommy over this pretentious poetry for an encounter with depression.

I swear I've been playing this song like nonstop since I first heard it on the radio yesterday, because the feeling it evokes from the experience of trying to reach out to that one you love & yearn for but the pain is too much to bear like they're souls being tormented & there isn't a god damn thing you can even do about it besides feel powerless in every sense of the word…
