Clearly they didn't try british food.
What food is to me is a thing to share. I love to share to others and love to enjoy what others share to me.
As to what two different species from different worlds enjoy, i think it likely that they would have different flavor interest born out of billions of years of diverse evolution on different worlds.
And while I strongly hope that sharing foods might play a part in bringing two alien species together into a cooperative union, i fear the liklyness of food alergies and, inability to metabolize many alien food (chemical compounds) might preclude significant participation in sharing alien foods at the dinner plate.
Seems to me there is enough room in the galaxy for both traditional Crecian food and fusion cuisine. I would have shit down this debate with that simple statement.
A perfectly bland and artificial meal, the ingredients as inorganic as the voice serving it.

Probably my favorite story so far. It’s so wholesome and kinda wild. I was literally thinking that conglomerate food guy was about to start a war over food with Earth talking trash on the ingredients 😂 good stuff though. I definitely would listen to more stuff like this. The kitchen is a battlefield 🎉
Neat story but damn that author repeated the same few phases like hundreds of times – two emotions or descriptions for EVERYTHING – and my god culinary landscape became a trigger word by the end of this beast of a book

This is a surprising story, iloved it.
but why in the first 14min we got from crecian to crachian to crakian ? does this species name constantly evolve ? is this story written via a "mic to text" app ?
i stopped at 27min, a parisian bistro is the lvl 0 of french cuisine, it's a disrespect to this art to bring a chef from another planet to every tourist traps restaurants on earth
i really enjoyed this story, i just wish i could have witnessed it because listening about all of those wonderful dishes made me hungry to try them all. but alas only in the world of science fiction
