  1. What a great mail day. I love how generous your viewers/subscribers are. The Pez dispensers were great and the photos were all so nice. I love seeing the clothes that were worn by everyone. My favorite are of the little children. The little boy one reminds me of one I have of my dad. I even have the little leather shoes he was wearing in the photograph. I enjoyed this mail day and look forward to the possibility of you sharing some of the photos in a post. (thanks for the update on the house – I have been in homes that could be considered a hoarder situation. There is a difference between the house being neglected and lots of items accumulated vs a house that has structural damage, filth and used t.tissue or old, old food items along with lots of items being accumulated. It's much more disturbing when there are bags and bags of literally garbage that can draw bugs, which in this case, it appears to have been left for a very long time.) What a waste.

  2. Fabulous stuff. The large Yellowstone photos are great. I wonder if that 1914 New Testament was carried by a soldier in WWI. I'm sure you've seen the ones (Bibles / NTs) they made that size with a brass or gilded metal cover that folks gave their loved ones to carry in their breast pockets (Heart Shield Bibles). Don't know much about Pez but I think that's a cool collection. And the last box, wow. Every photo / album (to me) is a riveting story, if only we can figure out what it is. Happy days to you!

  3. I would love to do a clean out with you. Container outside, you concentrate on the valuables, I move the dirty stuff. I have to move to another country due to house prices here and cleaning out houses could be an interesting income source. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Hi Renee. You are so lovely everytime you have mail day. The pegs are very vintage, even the Holloween one's you got from this lovable viewer. God Bless you my friend. So glad you are not smelling anymore rotten food and the house has to be toren down. The termites took the home. God Bless you and give Pam a big hug for me. She has a new friend. Have a wonderful day. Mari'a. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

  5. I had a doll with a crocheted dress like the little girl doll you were gifted! I can't remember what happened to her! Thanks to you more memories in pictures are now saved and will be shared remembered and enjoyed! I do remember my Momma saying that a lot of the children's photo's were made with them sitting or standing on or near a chair to keep the child still! Please be careful and stay safe! ❀❀

  6. Thank you so much for another interesting video. I love history. However, I must refrain from digging into boxes and reading old newspapers, etc. I developed very serious mold allergies plus multiple others years ago. So, I really love watching your videos. My youtube "friends" keep me involved vicariously. πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ˜€πŸ‚πŸ‚

  8. If course I love the little Bible since I collect miniature books. So nice to see it was well-loved. Many soldiers carried them in their pockets. The photos and tin types were terrific too!πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

  10. So many great photos and such! The pez holders are fantastic. Most of all I enjoy your laugh. Too cute! And tell the nay sayers your audience likes you just the way you are. No need to change a thing. I also don’t care much about popular brands, unless it’s Pyrex!!

  12. I think the one Pezz was a character called Sigmund the sea monster it was from a 1970s television show. I could be wrong but that’s what I thought. Such a thoughtful kind folks who send you such interesting things. I love it to watch you and so enjoy your channel😊

  14. You'd need a hazmat suit/respirator to clear out that place! Your head gear reminds of my late mom…she wore the same style…when she washed her hair…later she had one of those "space helmet portable dryers she used to drive the moisture from her nice head of hair! Yep, more of those amateur judges! The thing about those old paper items…how they have lasted! I have some technical magazines from 1901-08, so interesting! Also have several books dealing with President McKinley's life and 1901 assassination, the Titanic disaster and the San Francisco 1906 Quake/Fire. These were hastily rushed to publication right after the event…some of the facts and illustrations were distorted/sensationalized. Lives are like a flower in bloom…soon they fade and are forgotten…like a vapor…buff…gone! That's why when I, too, look at photos of people long gone, I wonder how their earthly existence panned out! You netted another neat haul!

  15. Rene, I put a comment on the Tony doll video, but it doesn't seem to be showing up… I have some info about the doll, he is called Mr Pogel and he was on an old BBC children's programme called Pogels Wood. Just look up that or check out the work of the animator, Peter Firmin. I recognised the doll as soon as I saw him, but could not recall the name directly! Suddenly came to me today. Hope it's of interest and sorry for spamming if the other post shows up! (I would also like to know how Mr Pogel got over there!)
