I think NATO is foolish to escalate things with Russia. It would be better to encourage peace talks rather than ramp up things by sending more long range weapons and tanks. Many thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have been killed as a result of NATO continuing to use them in their proxy war with Russia. It is impossible for Ukraine to win. The Russians are better resourced and have greater capacity to produce large quantities of weapons, plus a large army. Whereas Ukraine is running out of men and NATO is running out of weapons.

Freaking trenches in the 21st century? Complete madness. Send in waves of drones with 9mm guns or carrying little bombs. Of course all of this is complete and utter madness. These advanced weapons cannot be properly deployed to untrained people and the training takes many months at least for the fancier systems. How long do you think it takes to train on an F16 even if you already are a competent enough pilot?
Russia is much better at very cold weather fighting than most. It is logical they would push an offensive now before the agreed new weapons for Ukraine are in place.
Ukraine serve one important function, as a cheap and convenient way for western countries to get rid of obsolete weapons such as the Leopard one. The Russians are also keeping their best away from the front line. When all is settled, the civilian population will be the last to realize all the money and equipment support went into a black hole in space with not return on investments. Unless you think supporting Nazis, and a most corrupted regime are again fashionable. The Russians can afford it, they have a lot of natural resources to sell. WW2 was an eye opener as to what they can produce once they have a bit of time to build factories.
In my opinion they should give the same tactical nukes with similar capability just in case they do and let them know that they will openly give Ukraine the same and do things in kind as and when needed.

I totally agree and the stress is what immobilizes you. Stress causes so much harm to your thought process and your body. In fact you cannot retrieve information during stress. Different body chemicals are in the driver seat. I am a professor of nursing and wrote a book called “Peace Management” that teaches you how to avoid triggering the stress response. This is so important ❣️❣️❣️
If you aren't afraid of being dead, and you've accepted that you won't live forever in this body, when your time's up, it's up, it kind of brings a great sense of peace.
