The Ring of Fire – Expansions of Inazuma (Genshin Theory and Speculation)

Inazuma is quite a big nation, currently containing six main islands, as well as the lost city of Enkanomiya below the surface. However, I wanted to discuss another potential expansion for the region, so here we are.

  1. The multi element character would be great, we already have MC, but they can only wield only 1 element until they can make us wield all 7 elements, this could open up more characters for Hoyoverse.

  2. If mihoyo is done with the story of the continent of Teyvat and want to expand outside of it.. Inazuma is a good gateway to go outside the continent to a unknown expedition throughout the dark sea… And it feels like the plot of the anime hunter x hunter when they expand the world to dark continent.

  3. There is a mission with Kuki's sister that mentions that there is a water area under Kannazuka, that's something I've always had in mind as a possible expansion. Thanks for this video, I'm looking forward to more inazuma stuff too in hopes that they'll tell more story of my favorite character, hehe. I hope your channel grows more because it's really good, keep it up!

  4. I think its an awesome idea, i just think it sounds a bit to end game and good to be true lmao, specially the part of the other gods joining to help ei against more than 1 god. And i also never think we will ever get a character with more than 1 element, it would fun creep every other character in game so is not a very smart decision, that should stay a traveler only thing.

  5. Well, Celestia is not very fond of other active gods other than seven. This could potentially happen only after confronting Celestia, or it would be a bridge towards confronting Celestia.

  6. This actually gives me an interesting idea regarding the real world culture that they could derive this group of people from. Considering that a lot of modern day Polynesians can trace back their ancestry to Taiwan, The Philippines, and New Zealand (which are obviously in the general area of Japan) maybe that's what they could be based off of. There's a lot of history there that is tied to volcanos and how they were affected by eruptions so I can see a God of Lava becoming a thing!

  7. If i had suggest an expansion for Inazuma i would think something for the tengu race Like a village or an Island inhabited by the tengu. While under the shogun's domain they do not interact with them or something like that. U suggest this because as if now Kujou Sara is the only confirmed tengu we know of

If you consider the idea of the Ring of Fire then there need not be mention any out of the blue issues like some going wrong in the dark sea or something. It's not a bad idea per say but it feels kinda out of the blue and forced in. If we go with the Ring Of Fire idea then a simple underwater volcanic eruption us enough to create a new Island

  8. There can still be island expansions. The sea area is pretty vast around inazuma. There's still Korea, taiwan, philippines, or hawaii that they can base on.

  9. This expansion sounds like possible content after Snezhnaya release.
But I think it's possible for Inazuma having an expansion earlier than that.

My speculation for that expansion is "The Underworld", reflections of Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island and Seirai Island inhabited by (mostly) the dead.

  10. I think hoyoverse should at least add an expansion about the youkai, the recent inazuma festival said that there's a realm where all the inazuman youkai go to and it would be very cool if they add it as a new piece of land with new unique playable characters

  11. I totally believe there’ll be future expansion on Inazuma. There are far less insights on mentioned characters from that area one being Kagami Gozen. And going with the direction to your speculation I believe we will probably land on an island where they find an alternate ore source since the peace treaty was established on Tatarasuna and Jade Steel forging was stopped. Inazuma being a country for blade work finding an alternate ore for forging will probably be Kagami’s responsibility.
