  1. Great video, Adam! I find winter scenes are a bit more tricky, trying to balanced all that white with some darker areas to make it pop. But that's just my personal opinion.

  2. I've never been happy with any of my ice photos. I get really excited because of their beauty, but always come away disappointed. Nice job with these images! The one @ 3:50 reminds me of frozen puffy clouds. I agree, the cooler images make more sense to my eyes too. Was surprised a bit by the warmth of the raw files. On another note, how do you remain dry when Gavin always seems to get his dangly bits wet and frozen? Cheers!

  3. At 8:38 I see a really cool pair of angels that I think make an interesting pattern of icicles. Over your right shoulder at that moment, you see the icicles making that "check mark" pattern, sort of a 10 o'clock and 1 o'clock if it were a clock face? That pattern at the right zoom so you can see it wide enough makes an interesting patter of icicles. Yes There is dead space above it at the meeting point or bench at the check mark pattern and a bit of a ice/snow ledge on the upper left side of it, it might be a bit unbalanced, but I still think it's cool.

  4. I appreciate that you don't try to get more click bait-y, even if it doesn't serve the algorithm as well. I love how you always end up with great shots in challenging situations.

  5. These videos are great. You make me look at scenes differently than I normally would and see compositions I wouldn't otherwise spot. Sometimes, I even see possible comps within the videos themselves. Of course, what I think I see might not be anything if I were actually there.

  6. Really liked the first image, the first icicle image and the pano icicle image (or pano like crop). These three were my favorites today. I always appreciate your comments and walk through's. I learn something of value each time. Thanks for posting, sir.

  7. March 20th and still a foot of snow on the ground here. Temp lows about 10F. Yeah, frozen waterfalls, was shooting one yesterday. Too much snow for tripods. Last week I trekked through some waist deep stuff to get to my waterfalls.
