My favorite chapters of the Bible currently are: Joel 3 and Zechariah 9.
Many of us misunderstand because we don't understand spiritual language as we are naturally natural. There is no Islamic antichrist, no American, no Jew or such, we read the scriptures wrong.
The Iron is Rome, the clay is Isreal. There was no 5ft nation/kingdom Daniel saw. God showed a canal king a statue with 4 parts, Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome. Rome is the Rod of Iron God used to deal with Isreal and that wicked GENERATION because they joined themselves to Rome ( Iron and clay) the clay ( Isreal always was in God's hand the portter). He dealt with them then, now Isreal is different lump of clay.
God reveals to Daniel the king's dream in chapter 2 , then God showed Daniel ( a spiritual man) in chapter 7 the same dream with 4 kingdoms but in the form of 4 different beasts. Now Daniel is seeing the same image but from a spiritual man perspective as God sees the nations. God sees all nations as beast. Now you can understand where the mark of the beast stems from in scriptures as we who are save are part of a heavenly kingdom and fellowcitizens with the saints as we also confess Romans 11 that we are strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Therefore we have no mark of a beast for our nation is from above.
The 4th beast in Daniel 7 is the same in Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. In Daniel 7 his teeth is IRON, in Daniel 2 his legs and feet are IRON and part clay( Isreal). In Daniel 7 it's the 4th beast (Rome) but Isreal is the (Residue).
Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The seed of men was Rome and the spiritual seed was Isreal.
The little horn with eyes is the eleventh king as Rome had 10 kings but the 11th king was not of the same dynasty who's name was Vespatian. He was the antichrist of that 4th nation. He cut off the food supply from Egypt when Rome (THE BEAST) was sinking into starvation and corruption, when Vespatian took over he opened up again the food supply ( the beast was healed from its deadly wound) it's not a man that is called the beast but a nation (Rome). He controlled who was able to buy and sell at that time.
Yes Revelation said 7 heads and 10 horns. Heads are leaders and horns are kings.
The 7 heads are clearly seen in Luke 3:
1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of (1)Tiberius Caesar, (2)Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and (3)Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother (4)Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and (5)Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2 (6)Annas and (7)Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
The harlot riding the beast was Isreal because they joined themselves to Rome but God told them many times not to be joined to another nation so to God Isreal looked like a harlot with their union with Rome.
I will try to cut it short here :
1) statue with 4 parts in Daniel chapter 2 is Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome: Isreal is the clay ( shown to a CANAL king)
2) The 4 beasts in Daniel chapter 7 is Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome (shown to a SPIRITUAL man)
3) The 4 winds Jesus talked about was about gathering the elect. The 4 winds are Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome ( spoken to the APOSTLES)
4) The 4 horses in Revelation are Babylon, Media Persia, Greece and Rome ( shown to the CHURCH).
The 3 unclean spirit like frogs are
1) Herod the king = Dragon
2) Pilot the governor = Beast
3) Caiaphas the high priest = False prophet
All these are understood when we ask the Holy Spirit to help us.
The 2 witnesses in Revelation is Christ and his Father. Scripture shows this in (look at the CAPITALS below)
Zechariah 4:
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are " THESE", my lord? 5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what "THESE" be? And I said, No, my lord. 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, "THIS" is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
" The 2 olive trees became one word of The LORD "
John in Revelation said he is the faithful witness .
Jesus himself said:
John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

Final:
Most people read the scriptures as Jesus's work unfinished including the book of Revelation: Revelation is showing what happened not what's going to happen so they can't see the seven seals were all done as Christ was shedding his blood in seven different areason his body: yes blood seals it was.
But this is hard for many to grasp because they can't understand the mysteries of Christ. but I hope this helps in your studies as the Lord reveals.
