So,let me see if I understand the US rationale behind their added push on India : after decades of supporting Pakistan's dictatorship with weapons and money ( as well as fostering militancy in Afghanistan, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon) in a bid to stifle India's progress and regional influence, the US wants India to be a similiar counterbalance to China in the region ? This will only encourage our slide into debt and ignorance. The US will design these weapons and we will be reduced to labourers making these weapons and fighters fighting with these weapons. The US is not strengthening regional security by this move. It is encouraging militarism and low cost manufacturing of weapons of war. If we end up fighting the Chinese, the US will be the clear winner. Same divide and rule strategy.
