In Broad Daylight: The Alarming Abduction Of Carlie Brucia

Super Bowl Sunday, 2004. As millions gathered around their televisions to watch one of the world’s biggest sporting events, in Sarasota, Florida, panic began to set in. An 11-year-old girl had failed to make it home from a friend’s house and searches had turned up nothing. It would be grainy footage from the back of a car wash that would blow the case wide open and leave detectives in a race against time to find her.

  1. Oh look at this!! Florida is just as bad as anyone other “Woke” state!! I thought Big bad Governor DeSantis is against weak and woke laws for crimes against Children?! What a hypocrite! This is almost as bad as the so called illegal alien who raped and murdered a woman, when this guy is still alive after 30 years for raping and killing babies!!!Damn De Santis and his Woke justice system!!😂😂😂

  2. 29:16 how are new rules that go against victims and society safety retroactive but new laws that go against criminals never are? 29:30 they are indifferent to victims, society’s safety, tax payers. And for every time they have to go back to court, the family is retraumatized.

  3. So they arrested the mum for drugs and prostitution when she was trying to cope with her daughters murder. But they don't arrest a criminal on probation when he was caught with Cocaine. Seriously!! Rubbish system

  4. I hate him…He violated & murdered that sweet child. He utterly destroyed a family as well. Grandmother, Grandfather, uncle & ultimately her mom. A ripple effect. Rest In Peace beautiful Carlie along w/her family who couldn’t live without her……💔🥀😭🕊️

  7. This is such a sad story to hear. This monster took a lot of life before he died. Carlie life, her grandmother, the grandfather, uncle, and the mother. She turned to drugs to cope with the loss of her dear daughter young life taken by the hands of a animals who was living off of the tax payee money 💰. His own mother was heartless 💔. She was only concerned about her son life. Shame shame shame. How would you guys feel if someone did that to his 3 young children's back then 🤔 😮? Very sad story. After all theses years she is gone but never forgotten 💔. Life over at the age of 11😢😢😢 just a baby.

  8. I live about two minute drive from where she went missing. I was her age when it happened and I still remember it. I had friends that knew her. People still talk about it today and the car wash is still there.
