Its has great sex mods
No. Your pc is fine. Even the best pc tend to have lags when playing starbound.
I vaguely recall hearing that one of the major reasons the singleplayer lags the way it does has something to do with it being always connected to a multiplayer server, which can be sort of mitigated by running the game's exe directly, but even beyond that, Starbound is so unoptimized and prone to memory leaks I'm amazed it can run for anything longer than an hour without becoming unplayable.
But yeah, content-wise I would say that Starbound vanilla theoretically has a lot of stuff one could do, but pretty much all of it is half-baked in some form, which is why I think it got this reputation as being a semi-decent base for mods to build on top of. Soundtrack's nice though, I guess.
