  1. That was the best thing lol. I'm thinking maybe the funny is totally intentional, laughter is a great destresser I am sure If you're like super angry or whatever you listen to 10 minutes of this, and you'll be like it's all good.

    Honestly, I think the talking put me off completely – I got a binaural beats playlist on Spotify that I listen to if I want to relax or focus (that, or a lofi kind of playlist). I struggle a bit with meditation, I'm a big overthinker, so trying to calm my mind takes a bit of effort – I think exercise really helps with that 😊

  3. I started watching this and about 1 minute in, I decided not to skip my morning meditation, then came back and watched the video. So thank you for reminding me! 😀 😀 😀 I agree, I think meditation is an excellent tool to consider for managing stress! I'm also not very good at it, but even being bad at it, I do find it relieves my stress and anxiety. I feel calmer after! I've been trying to get into the habit of meditating in the morning and in the evening, but at least once a day, for at least 5-10 minutes a session. But if I miss a day, I am not pressed! I might take a listen to this. I think laughter is healing (lol) and I think it's cool that he put his own meditation album out into the world. Meditation does really seem silly sometimes, but I think we generally under value it! Taking time to just BE, to just EXIST… amazing. Truly amazing to me.

  4. May I ask a random question? The over correction you gave on the push up is that to correct looking down instead of forward? I ask because I struggle with that on push ups and planks I always want to look down wonder if I should try that.

  5. I did a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course. I was using the instructors seated meditation or body scan for 20 minutes every day. I found the Waking Up app to esoteric for me. The Headspace app is really good. I need to get back to that.

    But I wanted to thank you Justina because I have recently realized how healthy my inner dialogue around fitness and health has become and your content is one of the biggest reason for that. Three years ago, I was starving myself to lose weight and then I was depressed and anxious and deficient. Now I'm healthy with strength goals, comfortable in my body and my eating habits. You are making a huge difference with your content. Love you ❤

  7. I COULDN'T have done this without my mind hearing Lil' John as my inner hypeman😅😅😅😅. Also, that noise might have been positive affirmations bing whispered in the background🤷‍♀️. I've attempted to do meditations that included that feature, and always ended up with a headache.

  8. As someone who taught a musical theatre camp for years doing Jr. musicals the "rehearsal tracks" bit is so accurate! lately my co-teacher and I have adapted it to "rehearsal snacks" for when we bring out food during rehearsal 😂
