Yeah film flux da 🐐 no 🧢
Thanks for the great content!
Been watching melee for at least a decade and a half. Great video. Captured this so well.
Great video man, cheers.
I'm not an Hbox superfan or anything, but I respect the guy. His relationship with his mom is wholesome, his commitment to getting a degree/career outside of Melee is admirable, and he's a great representative of the scene whenever he does mainstream interviews. Did you see his Fox News segment? He can be pretty eloquent when he's not screaming like a lunatic.
Remember a few years ago when Brie Larson gave an awkward interview, then a bunch of chuds who already didn't like her used it as proof that she's inherently unlikable? That's how I see most of the Hbox hate. Mostly he just seems emotionally indulgent and sometimes socially unaware, but that doesn't make him the devil. Smash is full of weirdos. And I don't think he gets enough credit for his skill; dude's mental game, conditioning, DI, punish game, etc. are some of the best in the world. So what if he presses fewer buttons than the other guy?
That being said, I don't watch his sets very often.
Sadly, the melee community will hate this video because it doesn't show hbox in a negative light. They have so much hatred for him even though he always acts with class and maturity in competition. Oh but he looked at Sfat's controller to see his DI that one time. So I guess all the hatred is justified. It's too bad, Hbox is such a great person and leader, his Summit victory speech where he talks about character discrimination is a good example of it.
intro to this was absolutely horrible. What do you mean, talk from the perspective of hbox's opponent?? That has to be the most cherry picked comment I could have thought of. Commentators CONSTANTLY switch back and forth perspective during matches.
LMFAO at using this video of cody IRONICALLY popping off at hbox as "staring at hate" BRUH LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO get the fuck out of here lmfaoooooo
