When BTS went down I was devastated. Smash Summit was my favorite thing each year. I would request Friday off work, grab my case of beer, and enjoy the hell out of the most amazingly produced Smash events. I had a feeling in the back of my mind that Ludwig would try and hire some of the talent, so this announcement makes me insanely happy. I already know every single thing OFFBRAND produces with these guys is going to be S+ tier. Stoked.

Jerma is always up to something
Everybody loves Jerma but one think I don't see getting talked about enough is that this exact creative edge that the team needs. Ludwig would be scared of hurting someone's feelings meanwhile Jerma has trenscended mere human emotion and would probably kill a man on camera. Great balance! Excited for the future!

I think it's a risky investment to hire a figment of our collective imagination to be the chief creative officer at a large company.
Make offbrand a streaming service like Twitch and put them in the ground since they don't give 2 craps about their content creators.
Jerma is the absolute perfect person for this position. He's been doing wacky, creative shit since before it was normal to do so. His robot carnival stream, for instance, was ahead of its time and now that other streamers are doing boxing events and game shows and the like, I can see them benefiting a LOT from Jerma's experience and creativity.
That said, if he stops streaming because of this I'm going to die inside.

Streamers who are good at creating events helping others create events is very cool. And getting a CRO is also exciting from a building-a-sustainable-business perspective!
