HUGE FromSoftware News and Elden Ring DLC Update! | Kadokawa Report BREAKDOWN!

#eldenring #darksouls #gaming

Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree was announced back in February and since then we haven’t heard anything about it. However, a new leak highlights a release window for the Elden Ring DLC and how it is the main focus going forward. We discuss how the release and success of Armored Core 6 affects what plans FromSoftware has for Elden Ring DLC. Elden Ring is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding provided by fantasy writer George R. R. Martin.

  1. I admit I should’ve subscribed sooner I’ve been seeing your videos in passing for awhile, only thing really keeping me wanting the dlc to be honest. This video got me to pick it up for the first time in a long time gonna try to mod it now

  2. I hope they have a major update before the DLC (or with it) that gives us Covenant systems since it seems a little strange that we can only align ourselves with Volcano Manor–albeit briefly, and it doesn't really function like a Convenant, and the Roundtable + Two Fingers dont even react to the news at all. I think we should have the option to ally or serve any of the factions still present in the Lands Between, such as Godrick and his Tarnished Hunters (I know, it's silly to think about), the Raya Lucaria or Cuckoo factions, Leyndell under Morgott (without meeting him face to face), and others where it can give us rewards for PvE related quests or PvP that involves us defending the legacy dungeons–where I think solo pvp should have been active in the first place.

Hell, maybe some of them could lead into certain endings. Obviously if they add a Covenant element to Ranni's quest, pursuing the covenant would lead us to acquiring the ring to access Moonlight Altar, acquiring the Darkmoon Greatsword, and then unlocking the Age of Stars Ending that way.

I always thought you could give the Grafted Greatsword to Godrick as a token of loyalty, and if you ever turn on him, it would be used in his phase 1, and would make him more of a threat.

Maybe if they add new incantations, you could acquire Morgott's weapon summon incantations upon hunting Tarnished in Altus, including potential NPC invasions similar to Volcano Manor. But serving Morgott would never lead to an ending, so you'd have to betray him to progress the main story, of course.

Obviously I am asking for way too much, but hopefully with how many moderate changes they made soon after the release of the game, they took the time to prepare major changes like this to make the game more immersive.

Also I'd really like a quest for Vyke to be added just because he was a major poster-boy and just ended up being an npc invader and gaol boss with no real significant presence in the game.

  3. Elden Ring is such a nonsensical joke- even the combat is 15% skill 85% luck, just a LITTLE less trashy than their previous titles (which I played for 20 minutes before uninstalling). You can layer skillful reactions in AI or you can't, the "invader" fight at the burning chapel taking me thirty effing tries as a 32yr old man who's beaten hundreds of difficult games throughout my life and earned PSN platinum trophies etc this garbage is unacceptable wasted potential is all. Incoherent, I don't need to get better at playing their games they need to get better at making them. The masochistic first glance erection faded fast on this one.

  4. This is all good news. I'm hungry for more Armored Core and Elden Ring. Whatever Fromsoft is doing, it's working. I've been pretty bored with video game releases recently. But both ER and AC have delivered big time!
