  1. Simply put, God fights your battles for you. He uses all that was meant for evil for good. That’s why you forgive, so God’s judgement can take place. If you judge them or do harm to them, then Why would God judge them if you responded with evil in your heart! No, turn the other cheek means you’re putting yourself in a position to be slapped again by forgiving them of their evil.

If y’all Keep trying to interpret the Bible without God and without context… y’all will have to answer to God. Don’t make that mistake. Don’t pervert or convolute the meaning. Pray for wisdom and understanding.

  2. Resist not evil. This made me think of Jesus being tempted by Satan in the wilderness. He, Jesus, didn’t banter words with evil; He quoted scripture that clarified Truth and in turn dispelled evil.

  3. A strong person can rely upon himself. No temper required, mental silence is your defense. Turn around, walk away.
BUT there are times when offended when I wished I had vocally stood up. I had too much strength within.

  4. When they say resist not evil it means, prepare your video camera and when abused physically or verbally record and sue after getting enough evidence. Your richer and your perpetrator, in jail for a long time.

  5. We wrestle not against flesh and blood… We are in spiritual warfare, we have to fight spiritually. Also the Bible says for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

  6. I recommend a good read on 1st Book of Sammuel, if you want a good model of strong but with no evil will. David is a good model. If you want a good example of the psychee of what drives evil men who wound without cause, Samuel is your man. Literally your oppertunities, can pose you as a threat to some people in life, who are EVEN above you which logically you know would kind of render such a comparioson ludicrous. BUT you can't apply logic to irrational beings!

  7. Let me tell you evil! I have a number of demonic critters stalking me! They are not fit to be called human! So evil, they sent me a video of a dead little girl to pretty much wish death on my daughter. If that’s not evil, I don’t know what is. Oh, but let me tell you about God and what you reap, you shall sow! To wish death on a child is satanic, demonic and all the people affiliated with these people are the same in my eyes. Karma tho! How do you forgive that?

The strength comes in realizing that the battle isn't yours, it's Gods. That inate calm God gives you just freaks out an evil idiot. It scares them. They'll back down. They don't know how to handle rationality. Normal intimdates their abnormal.🤔👍

  11. 1 Corinthians 1: 19,20
(19)For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise men perish, and the intelligence of the intellectuals I will reject.” (20) Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this system of things? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish

    Ephesians 6: 16-18
    (16) Besides all of this, take up the large shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the wicked one’s burning arrows. (17) Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is, God’s word, (18) while with every form of prayer and supplication you carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit. And to that end stay awake, constantly making supplication in behalf of all the holy ones.

Understanding of the Bible is not given to haughty intellectuals. Even to ones that read The Word, and proclaim to understand, as Mr. Peterson here. No matter how sincere he might seem.

    Romans 12: 17-19
(17)Return evil for evil to no one. Take into consideration what is fine from the viewpoint of all men. (18) If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men. (19) Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says Jehovah."

He is Almighty, all encompassing, the ONLY Absolute; The One Seated on the Throne lives forever and ever. Jehovah God.

  12. In Romans chapter 12, the Bible encourages us to pray for those who persecute us. We defeat hate with love. We’re also encouraged to be kind to our enemies for it is like burning coals over their heads.
