German Wehrmacht and Hitler is losing the war at the eastern front at Stalingrad.
At the end of January in 1943, the German army is encircled by soviet forces at Stalingrad. In Stalingrad, disgusting conditions prevale: Freezing snow, no food and rats. It’s a hand-to-hand fighting at the end in Stalingrad. Hitler is in despair after the symbolic success in the crushing of Stalingrad. In Stalingrad, millions of men were killed.
The defeat of the Wehrmacht at Stalingrad is a major shock for Germany. But the regime’s reaction wasn’t adapted to the disaster of Stalingrad: no concession, no negotiation, no peace. For Hitler, surrender is betrayal.

Youtube is not a good place to watch documentaries. Too much censors.
I look forward to new episodes of this series. But the blurring of images is starting to irritate me, and in this episode, the extent of such ruined the documentary.

The Title of this film seems misplaced.
The SS was concerned about the effect on the Einsatzgruppen involved in the mass executions of women and children! The gas chambers were the German answer to this “problem”.

Why is this stupid documentary ignoring the real crimes the red army committed on german soil..thats one of the reasons they fought till the end
Although they fought impressively, the Finns did not defeat the Red Army in 1939
really well put together but why keep blurring out footage if you doing this for people to learn? can you do a version which could be given a veiwer warning?
