In the years following the Great War there were many opportunities for industrious souls,
but mostly people wanted to enjoy life and party for awhile after so much destruction and death.
Americans were travelling to Europe, particularly Paris to enjoy the delights that the “City of Light” offered.
German born Eugen had filmstar good looks, spoke several languages and was very charming. He was very keen to enjoy the trappings of success, and his parents thought he would go far, the question was just how far?
For the dashing Herr Weidmann the post war party years meant there was money to be made, and although he came from a well-to-do family and the future seemed very bright for him, Eugen wanted wealth without working.
So how could he enjoy the luxuries that the well to do people had? Well the answer was quite simple….If they had what he wanted, he would simply take it….and their life along with it.

1908 Year of the Monkey 🐒
Eugen Weidmann (5 February 1908 – 17 June 1939)
-Year of the Monkey 1908
-Life Path 7 & born on 5th
(that explains A lot about his core nature) – he took risks & used his *communication *skills to trick & charm people – deep down he was a loner – he felt detached from others ///
*February is a *Tiger Month & *ENEMY to the *Monkey Year
(he was his own enemy)
Thanks!

No one tells stories like the great Oddie thanks for all these wonderful stories
Kinda a bit of strange request for a video idea for u I think u should do about the event of Sharon Tate with the Manson family I know it’s it’s has lots of blood spilled but I just think it would be very different for video & another dark side of Hollywood
Thanks Odie very interesting indeed. Quite intelligent that's for sure, but made wrong choices in his life that's for sure. Well he definitely paid the price. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
🎉🎉🎉
I'm sure the Nazis would have had work for him. He was their kind of guy. I wonder why he didn't join the SS or something?
Loved this Odds.. he was handsome, a bit like a Ted Bundy type character.
Thanks for all your hard work mate. ❤
what really tickles me is how the french got so turnt that public executions were outlawed from then on, like a tailgate party that flew off the handle. can't say france doesn't know how to have fun.
💙🔥💙Thank you…
Many women have the bad-boy syndrome even to their own destruction. I suppose that they fear boredom more than being a victim 🤷🏽♂️.
Yes, I remember this psycho! I know I've probably said this before, but these serial killer "groupies" are just mind-boggling to me. I first learned of this phenomena back in the day when Ted Bundy was on death row, and all the love letters he received from women who were totally infatuated with the guy. I was in my early teens at the time, and remember it making my skin crawl 🤢
Great presentation, Oddie 👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What an interesting story Oddie. As a woman, yes, Eugen was an extremely attractive man. I could see the ladies swooning over him. He appeared to be an intellectual and well bred man that other men wold be comfortable and trusting in his presence.
Mr Oddie,
I usually watch only your lighter creations, Lady Lewdan being my favorite, but being a rainy day here in San Francisco and avoiding washing my dishes, I kept your presentation on and watched it until.the bitter end. I have nothing to add really. No murderers have I ever met that I know of. I live just now with a household of elderly ladies that I swear are trying to kill me and each other with cleaning products and fumes of all god awful. And, once when we had a natural gas leak they turned on ever light in the house which I was advised not to. This I bring to your attention as one of the housemates at the time was from France and said to me, "Natural gas, what? I do not know natural gas." as she stood at my door complaining at me that I was talking to loud while I was on the phone with the Fire Department. I promptly pushed my bedroom door closed and looked at her as it slowly shut in her face. I thought to myself, you may never know natural gas if the house explodes. I exited the building and I stood back, way back in case the house exploded, but nope, the house and everyone is here for me to tell the tale. As I do live in San Francisco the Fire Department was there quick to inspect. This story is nothing to do with killers, this is to do with those who would be killed. They, all of them, did not know natural gas, but I did. I did know.

Maybe I’m just getting old but for the life of me, I’ll never understand how people like this have a “fan club” or groupies. I guess even a rotten egg is cute if you paint it up for Easter.😅
Thank you, Oddie, for a fascinating story that I’d never heard before. (And for translating that letter!)
Wow Odie! That was a gruesome one! Especially with all the footage. I loved it. Thank you for making these videos. Taking time out of your life to keep us all enthralled. ❤❤ Also, luckily he was definitely not my type. It's such a pity that an ugly heart doesn't reflect in the face a person wears.
Never heard of this guy. Everyone's worst nightmare.
Gteat animation.
Thank u as always Oddie for yet another superb well detailed & unheard of presentation. The incredible amount of effort & research u put into each presentation plus the amazing footage & photos it's always a real treat for us fascinated & glued viewers.
I have to say he clearly had zero empathy for others & just thrived off killing. He used his charisma & charming persona to lure victims in before executing them. In the end it was his own stupidity & carelessness that got him caught & in the end he got what he deserved. It's weird how some women find serial killers a turn on isn't it lol. I've never understood that.
Thank u once again Oddie for all your hard work. Keep on keeping on
Oh oddy, how i miss you so. Much love from los Angeles!
Hello over ther Oddie and Oddette…great video…man, what a piece of dirt this guy was…sometimes we think back them was so simple and carefree…but not all the time…scarey…loved it !!! Take good care my friend…
Excellent, as always. Kudos to your real voice, hate robots
I always look forward to your videos! So we'll done. Thank you!❤
Hi Odie it was interesting to this article love Kim x
Thank you, …..always a unique pleasure .
Another good one Oddie. This man was a "wolf in sheeps clothing." Women sometimes are beguiled by the looks of a man, but no one knows what's in a man's soul. Take care Oddie, and hello to Mrs. Oddie.
Sort of reminds me of the British man, John Haigh, the acid bath murderer of London during the late 1940s. He, too, charmed his victims and was also considered good-looking.
Hi I so love how you work your film 🎥 it great Thank you,I love it very much please keep going 🎉❤
Thank you! Amazing as always Odie! ❤ Love from New Hampshire! Also in my opinion he’s not good looking….
I adore this variation of narrations the intermittent photos.
