58:00 I'm sure he's actually talking about the Russian invasion of Crimea. The zombie protesters were related to that, because they were playing Russian propaganda over the radio/TV etc. This was part of a larger movement which had been going on for a long while, and in that period of time, due to Russian fighters, the Ukrainian president was replaced three times over, one of whom was imprisoned in Russia because she didn't want to bow to them, and I think the first one was k*lled. Citizens were fighting for their country, but because Ukraine was already being attacked in the capital, it couldn't provide much support for Crimea. Russia claimed that they invaded Crimea because they held a referendum, and on this referendum, some people said they would like to be part of Russia. The equivalent to this would be if they held a newspaper poll in Alberta, Canada, and the rednecks said they'd prefer to be American, so the US came and conquered the province while also ending the life of the Prime Minister and placing an American in his seat.
How sad, these guys don't know about the TV SHOW called The Walking Dead!

I grew up watching horror movies, in a very violent home. I still love a good scare but I do suffer from PTSD and am bipolar. So yeah lol, maybe hold off on the gore and just hug your bbys as much as you can and as often as possible
As non-American it is very hard for me to understand your stance on "guns are okay at such a young age but knifes aren't"…. Personally, I think, neither should be in the hand of a child and they shouldn't learn to use these kind of things, until they are at an age where they can really understand the implications, consequences of and reasons for the use of a weapon 😮
Modesto has become a high drug use, crime city. I lived in modesto 1972 to 2018. It once was a beautiful town. So sad.
This is horrific, and very depressing. I feel bad for this kid. With the childhood he had, what kind of chance did he ever have? But on the other hand, the same can be said about a lot of murderers. Doesn't mean they should be let out.

Most of the time, when a murderer was abused in childhood, we say, "But lots of people have horrible childhoods and they don't grow up into murderers. It's not an excuse." And that's true enough. But this poor kiddo was trained in violence from early childhood and brainwashed into believing that his father's delusion was reality. He also seems to have been isolated except for school, so unless he was sitting in a classroom during school hours, he was immersed in his father's delusion.
Also, it should be illegal in every state to question a minor without an attorney present. Even if the minor refuses to speak with the attorney or take any advice, there should be a third party to supervise and call out any inappropriate or illegal police tactics. Even if the minor's parents are present and competent, attorney presence should still be mandatory.
So yeah this kid should've been sentenced to a safe environment; psychiatric care; and consistent, trustworthy adult caregivers.
I just want to say the empathy y’all show really is amazing and refreshing. My best friend was arrested at 15 in Ga, and it’s been nearly 30 years and she’s still incarcerated. Ga has some really awful statistics regarding criminal justice, the laws are insane. It is antiquated. Yes, people must be accountable but there’s room for mercy. And with our modern understanding of emotional regulation, how people grow, and brain development, we do need better options for children.

I don't think he hated his brother at all. The fact that he refused for a long time to even talk about killing him tells me that. He doesn't want to relive what he did. This poor boy was just so messed up by abuse and the drugs he was being pumped full of. He was let down by literally every single person in his life, from his parents all the way up to the school officials who ignored all of the obvious signs that he needed someone to come in and save him.
One thing I can't stand in life is a dead beat parent!!! Mom knew that their dad was bonkers and left her kids with him.. bum lady!!! I have 4 boys and I can't imagine abusing them mentally physically or emotionally… Dad absolutely had a hand in how this boy turned out!! His father was probably schizophrenic or just terribly delusional from drug use and his mother allowed the abuse, then abandoned them in said abusive home… I dont understand why the school didn't step in! I work in a school and we're mandated reporters!! This kid also was left alone with 2 grown men that are police officers on a mission to make their case.. where was his mother? Some kinda social worker? An attorney?! To put a kid in solitary is horrific!!!!!! Wtf is that about?!?!?! Why didnt the kid tell about all the drills and stuff their father made them do?? Those officers are wack for interrogating a messed up teen boy like that.. they knew exactly what they were doing too! Eldon absolutely deserves punishment and I hope he does get parolled and can live some kind of normal life… this is one of them rough cases for sure!

I couldn't watch in its entirety the first time. I had to stop bc I started bawling 😭 when I heard what he did to his brother. As a mom of a 4yo nonverbal autistic; It fckn killed me to even think of my boy being in such a horrendous situation. Eldon is a victim of his circumstances and for that I feel so terrible but there are plenty of ppl who are victims of terrible situations who don't even think of doing things like that. Albeit the drugs and his mental stability have a lot to do with it I believe but the true victim in all of it was indeed Jonathan and I can't help but hope he's happy and liberated and free from his earthly limitations.
4 of my sisters have RAD. I wrote a paper about it back in college. Its definitely tough.
What drives me nuts is for many policy departments dealing with an officer involved shooting, they encourage the officer involved to have hours to collect themselves and get at least one sleep cycle before any questioning about the shooting happens. But they cant give that to people accused of a crime. Lets level the playing field.
Cops dont give a fuck. Everybody needs to wake up, and understand that the police are out to get you. You cant abuse power without power to abuse
