  1. Hello Alan, the BOA Raunch n Roll live was my gateway Album for them, I then purchased all thier prior albums preceding Raunch n Roll. I got to see them once as the Headliner with Montrose and Jo Jo Gunne as the opening bands at Sunken Gardens in San Antonio Texas. Thanks for letting me share some memories. Cheers – WWM.🎶🎶🎶

  2. I have a pile of 8 tracks that I was buying just because.
I really want to move them out of here.

Also, as a record collector, I surprised myself when I picked up 5 cd's this weekend…

Get the new Yes album. I'm a harsh critic of this lineup, but was pleasantly surprised by the album.

Also, I listened to the new Tull and like it, more than the last one, so I'll be buying it soon.

    Enjoy your haul.

  3. Some good stuff. I have that live Golden Earring cd and it is really good. For some reason they have never gotten that much airplay in the U.S. like they do in the rest of the world.

  5. How awesome of Tom to send you the Heather Findlay CD (I’ve been enjoying my exploration of Mostly Autumn.) and the Golden Earring Live two-CD set! This most recent haul of yours illustrates how wide ranging your taste in music is, from Black Oak Arkansas to Taylor Swift to Maggie Bell to The Fixx to Garth Brooks to Jefferson Starship. (With regard to Jefferson Starship: I, personally, could never mistake the voice of Mickey Thomas with the voice of Grace Slick. His singing may fit fine on “Freedom at Point Zero,” but IMHO no one can fill Grace’s shoes. Although Grace Slick and Marty Balin shared lead vocal duties each time I saw Jefferson Starship in concert, I did see Mickey Thomas sing live when I saw The Elvin Bishop Group in concert and Mickey was the lead vocalist. He sounded excellent. But, when it comes to Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship, Grace is the one for me.) I shall eagerly await your review of the new Jethro Tull album, which I love and have been listening to every week since it was released about a month ago. It now has to share rotation time in my home with the new Graham Nash album, “Now,” which came out just a few days ago. I am so impressed that Graham, at 81 years of age, put out such a top-quality, meaningful album — and I am absolutely amazed that his singing voice is exactly the same as it was nearly 60 years ago.

  7. Horslips – I like Dancehall Sweethearts a lot, and I haven't gotten to the Belfast Gigs yet. But the Book of Invasions is a genuine masterpiece, and the Tain is also outstanding. I think they're a great and very unusual band. Also The Fixx's albums are almost outrageously good. All the MCA records, Calm Animals, Elemental, and Beautiful Friction are among my most listened to albums of all time. I would start with Reach the Beach or Phantoms, probably. But you can't go wrong with them.

  8. I know you learn a lot from your viewers. I taught not to wear white socks after Labor Day🤣😂 Having seen both Black Oak Arkansas and Golden Earring in their prime, I can say they were both great live. They are currently re releasing Golden Earring albums. The new Paul Simon CD arrived today as well as the new Raul Malo solo album (Mavericks). Looking forward to both. Nothing fell😜

  9. Unpacking my CDs today and I found the McDonald's Tina Turner greatest hits and it has 10 songs only. I do have the double greatest hits like yours. I am finally unpacking my apartment and I had to take a break I have to pace myself. Each day thru Monday I got to work on this huge project. I have a crew coming Tuesday morning to run stuff to the dumpster and then clean my place. But I got to get done and I had to cool off and watch your video, you definitely got some cool stuff $10 for the sealed Garth box set is quite a steal.
