Derek Carr's a better/more sensible option than Lamae due to lesser opportunity cost – draft picks and especially salary cap space, to renew the contracts of the Jets in-house talent eg Quinnen and soon AVT etc.
Y'know, the Jets would be a playoff team if they had Garoppolo's or Carr's stats for the QB position. I see no need to invest a TON into Lamar who has never again reached that MVP level like he did in 2019. I really hope the Jets don't pull the trigger on this.
WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT ECON? Our owner is a billionaire! The team hasnt been in the playoff in 12 years, and the good players will LEAVE anyway if they don’t make playoffs. Carr has no track record, Jimmy G – either plays all season or goes down the whole season. Lamar all in!

I aint giving up all the draft capital and money for someone who never threw for 4k yards.
JD will never make that move.
