GHOST TOWN! Primm, Nevada is deserted (Buffalo Bill's reopening)

Come with me as I explore the STRANGE town of Primm, Nevada. This place is just 30 minutes south of Las Vegas. I went to go check out the grand reopening of Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino and while I was in Primm decided to visit all of the other properties as well: Primm Valley Resort & Casino, Prizm Outlets, and Whiskey Pete’s. I was surprised to find out what it was like inside!

  1. I'm surprised sooooooooooo much money and resources were invested in Prime in the first place, to be frank. So it doesn't surprise me, sadly, that it's struggling to draw foot traffic as of late. 🤕

I know Las Vegas itself was a sleepy town at the time the Colorado River Compact was first ratified so it, in itself, is one of the newest major cities in the United States…………but it benefitted from tangential advantages in its earlier history before exploding in growth in the 1960s with the Hoover Dam nearby as well as major investment from tycoons like Howard Hughes in the overall community. Primm, in contrast, just hasn't emerged as a true community (it doesn't even have a post office currently) despite its fascinating attractions. Its main draw are people making day or weekend trips from California, but else is just extremely isolated.

  2. Have you ever played Fallout New Vegas? This is one of the locations in the game (that's how I found your video).it's so cool to see these locations in real life.
Also that mall is beautiful. I hope new life is breathed into it soon.

  3. Buffalo Bills has been opened for a while now, but only on weekends until recently. An ✌🏼Abandoned✌🏼 YouTuber even covered it a couple months ago and showed some booking ready rooms, thinking it was still closed. I accidentally discovered it was opened when I stopped to cash lottery tickets a couple months ago and the BB's lot was full. They had an initial soft opening but not that many people heard about it! I love that they have branded merch! I can't believe that the Vegas hotels don't push branded merch, especially in winter when hoodies and jackets would fly off the shelves!

  4. I too have memories of going to Primm as a kid with my family. Sad to see the place is so rundown now.☹I've ridden both coasters at NYNY and Buffalo Bills and BB wins hands down. I hope they reopen so others can experience it too. Watching this makes me sad but brings back some good memories. Thanks for sharing this.🥰 Keep the Vegas videos coming. 🤙

  5. Enjoyed this thx. Large empty malls and casinos are definitely so creepy. I am not sure what it would take to bring back that small stop economically? I agree if B Bill’s were in the strip, it would be popular. Cheers!

  6. Went to Primm once. Applied for a job at a casino, not Buffalo Bills. Would probably like Buffalo Bill's. A lot of similarities to Sam's Town. At least there were some people playing the slots. Did you go to Jean, Nevada? It is a short distance from Primm.

  7. Yeah, we did a GREAT job with Covid-19, RIGHT! we literally did everything wrong, Bad vaccine, and ignored Therapeutics that would have saved countless lives so that Big Pharma could make billions, and put the working class out of business. It's all so very sad, State line was a fun place.

  8. Something to consider. Primm is only 40 miles from vegas, a straight shot on interstate 15. There are hotels, nice but dated. You pay a fraction of the cost, and although dated, they are clean and nice. Why pay 300-400 dollars a night, get ripped off for food, lodging and other things when you can stay in primm and get to vegas in only 25 to 30 minutes.

  9. I stayed there back in February. It was a Tuesday so I didn't expect a big crowd. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, I got good service at Dennys so my experience was positive.
