I want to play a digimon game so incredibly badly
Im just not interested in pretty much all the ones theyve ever made :,(
digimon world games are my favorite
I just a want a high budged digimon game, every game feels low budget no matter how good they're
This games is the main core of digimon. Training and raising a digimon and the final result is all your hand. You feel that the digimon you have, is 100% your digimon.
We need a Digimon world game on Xbox. I love Digimon and I grew up with it and lots of ppl were excited for Digimon Survive which was very good but it was a very niche game with the visual novel elements and light combat.
I feel the franchise should have 3 main branches of games: the world series, the story series and the survive series.
The survive series would be focused on story choices and digivolving your partners along a limited set of paths depending on those story choices. They might need to work on the visual novel formula a bit to make it more interesting or try something else entirely but I like the tactical RPG part.
Digimon world games. Really are something special.
somehow i think bandai know that and what i can see because they also help to publish monster rancher kaiju as well i think they want to polish the battle system more for the next digimon world series.
So what i can asumme was the world serise will be mainline for legacy like how monster rancher or ar-toneelico will really lore heavy and add little bit nostalgic from the previous world series you can se mameo and mirai in that game to as legacy even though i not sure it's the same person. just hope it's not to much gimmick and have more polish story and art style.
And as Story series will be mainline for general public who just want to enjoy digimon kind like persona even though it's spin-off but still have consisten art style direction for one game to another especially for 3,4 dan 5.
other than that i think probably bandai namco will make digimon game will experiment like what they always do just if they not sure it's will sell well they probably never make marketing campain for it even it's good game or not.

Digimon world 4 was a beat em up loot with evolution so I guess it had some kind of rising but not like these gym fights. So a remaster of world 4 might be fun with online muitplayer since you can play with 3 other friends one playing a different Digimon.
There is a legitimate concern for this since Habu himself stated that if the World series kept performing the way it was, it might become difficult for them to keep making these games.
But seeing that Digimon as whole been performing better recently, I think it should be fine.
This game runs great on the Steam Deck, I hope they keep em coming. They just need to do better on the gameplay. The concept is great.
Digimon world games can be amazing…as long as they drop the "cheerleader" mechanic and let us use the digimon directly in combat. I beat digimon world 1 mostly because I was a digimon addict as a kid, but I loathed the combat

i think we should wait to see how the next world game that got announced does before we start panicing the latest world game (next order) was 1st released for the vita before getting upgraded graphics in the ps4 and it's recent port to the pc and switch didn't provide as much changes globally like hackers memory did so the sells are expected to be lower

i hate to say this i really do .. but i got metroid and getting mega man first because there 1 cheaper even when the mega man comes in at 60 but has 10 games … i never even got this game and wanted to play it and i just hope bandi knows there timing is ass and i will buy it T_T i fucking promise but bro really the timing right in my childhood .
People cry about world games cause they cant git gud and probably abused the exp usbs to steamroll the story games

Honestly they should keep both franchise going they are awesome and the story lines are good
I gave it a try. It's been a while, but what stuck with me is I couldn't explore or do much of anything due to constantly struggling to get enough toilets. I enjoy monster raising, but given the opportunity to explore, it felt like a huge blocker and I lost interest when I felt like I barely left town when I had to return for more toilets. Grindy though it was, my favorite digimon game was Digimon World Dusk (technically a story game).
Honestly they don't support the game branches of the series, and imo the next order switch release should of been made cheaper and with more added digimon lines it felt somehow cheaper than world 1.
I played both still prefer digimon world 1 this felt so much more like an empty world with charackters to the city evrywhere and they didnt add much.
in the the ps1 game some had almost bigger stories then the main story of this game. also it felt way more satisfying recuiing digimon to the city

Yeah, I love the V-Pet style raising World series! Sure, DW2 and DW3 (and 4 as well) were different for their time, but it was mostly them experimenting in that era.
I like they're keeping World and Story series their own thing and I hope they continue with it. They just need to advertise the games more. Sadly, Bandai doesn't seem to care for it unless its Tekken.
Funny how you say "DO NOT END the World series" when you sucked playing DW1 yet you love Next Order more as it's a more refined version of 1! XD
I got into Digimon games because of DW1 and if they don't plan on continuing it I'm going to make my own Monster Raising series that combine aspects of Digimon World and Monster Rancher. They're so much fun to engage with!
