This business of using "they" in place of "he said" or "she said" is from the woke left. The idea is to avoid any mention of "gender differences". The woke left has manipulated the English language to such a degree that people like this youtube host (Adam Snyder) will say (for example) "I talked to a dockworker and they said…" He knows that "they" is a plural pronoun. He's just so bent and manipulated to woke manipulation that he changes "he " to "they said…" He really makes no sense, as his sentence starts out with a reference to one dockworker.
In my opinion, if this youtube host is so easily manipulated and so strongly influenced by outside forces, he would probably say anything, true or not, in response to manipulation and pressure. He cannot be trusted, in my opinion. Youtube hosts can say whatever they want. This person can bend to the woke left, as he finds convenient. For my own protection, I clicked off after the tenth "they" which was a reference to one person. He bends to them (the woke. the language manipulators. the grammar nazi party) and I click off, for the last time.
