best way i test crit is brutality and void manipulation and listen for the large crunchy crit sound, idk if it would work with lightconduit tho, havent tried
I used lightning conduit of the heavens for a while on my cast on crit character. You really feel like Thor just spinning with cyclone and raining down lighnting from the sky.
Any kind of trigger setup goes around the high cast time of the spell (and you do have that awakened cast while channelin 😉 )
Pretty sure people bypass the bad cast time with mines and destroy bosses with it

It seems like all the really good T gems right now on release are the boring ones. Conduit of the Heavens seems really fun but I’ve seen so many more Ball Lightning of Static builds.

hopefully you come across an impulsa's some how, single hit lightning skills like this and arc are a ton of fun with all the extra clear you get out of it.
U should try to Pick up Ghost Dance when ur so near to it. Really good defensive layer

Lightning Conduit with unleash wont hit more than 16 it will just hit the same in the aoe's possible 16 targets multiple times which is still good but it doesn't help your clear in a since much. Unleash just simply casts the same spell instantly a few times at once but lightning conduit's mechanics are locked at X-amount of targets hit so it will only hit x-amount of targets but said targets can be hit more than once. I league started with my usual arc assassin and used Of the Heavens a ton and its a lot of fun. Just casting it with a spell echo which is two casts back to back which will hit, with one right click, twice as many enemies basically. Running and gunning basically you just hit everything around you in roughly 1/3rd of the screens size. If you focus on the unleash end of it which i hate using on any spells since the thing has been out, a skill like that wont feel great. But run, right click, run right click, no aiming needing it feels good. And as i said if you find an Impulsa's you'll be hooked
