Adventism ought to have been a beacon of true light and hope, in a world sinking deeper and deeper down into the abys of darkness and wickedness; but Adventism has been infected with the said darkness and wickedness that it should have been tenaciously standing against.
The love of money and greed has led our leaders to adopt the world's political maneuverings and practices in order to control the membership and maintain kingly power over them. Adventism has lost its way. The level of dishonesty, politicking, greed, abuse of power and smartmanism that has infected our church is mind blowing.
Trying to solve this problem by only addressing the symptoms will yield very little or no positive results. To solve this problem, we have to go right back to the beginning and dig up something that was buried in our past. There's something that was buried way back then. The dishonesty is not new. it all started way back in our past; and if as a church we don't face the truth and look to Christ, there'll be no change, no revival, no reformation. Dishonesty grows into many other undesirables, just as we're witnessing unfolding before our eyes now. May God help us to be honest and get back to the real truths of the Holy Bible; the unadulterated and unbending truth…🙏

I'm still a new Christian/Adventist and every church I have attended have things their doing that reminds me of the Sunday churches I use to be in, it's disturbing and sad hurts my heart to the core😢 I was shaken in the church and some will be shaken out 😇🙏God bless those who are standing for truth 🙏

If they received an unusually large tithe it should have been directed to increase in pastor and missionary salaries and their benefits instead of getting a variance so they can spend it against policy.

Praying and trusting that this issue will not cause divisions and distinction to our churches . I will stay focus with my relationship with JESUS and not let this issue discourage me to serve .
Its nice if our leaders remain steadfast and not compromise principal. Those millions where supposed to be sent via the same channel as any tithe. Not to make an exception because its significant 3 digit million.

Catholic church = Babylon from Rev.17
"The Waldenses were the first of all the peoples of Europe to obtain a translation of the Scriptures. Protestant churches = Babylon from Rev. 14
"When the churches spurned the counsel of God by rejecting the Advent message, the Lord rejected them. The first angel was followed by a second, proclaiming, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." Revelation 14:8 This message was understood by Adventists to be an announcement of the moral fall of the churches in consequence of their rejection of the first message. The proclamation, "Babylon is fallen," was given in the summer of 1844, and as the result, about fifty thousand withdrew from these churches.
The term Babylon, derived from Babel, and signifying confusion, is applied in Scripture to the various forms of false or apostate religion. But the message announcing the fall of Babylon must apply to some religious body that was once pure, and has become corrupt. It cannot be the Romish Church which is here meant; for that church has been in a fallen condition for many centuries. But how appropriate the figure as applied to the Protestant churches, all professing to derive their doctrines from the Bible, yet divided into almost innumerable sects." 4SP 232.1 – 4SP 232.2

"In this scripture the announcement of the fall of Babylon, as made by the second angel, Revelation 14:8. is repeated, with the additional mention of the corruptions which have been entering the churches since 1844." 4SP 421.2
"Of Babylon at this time it is declared, "Her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." Revelation 18:5. She has filled up the measure of her guilt, and destruction is about to fall upon her. But God still has a people in Babylon; and before the visitation of his judgments, these faithful ones must be called out, that they "partake not of her sins, and receive not of her plagues." Hence the movement symbolized by the angel coming down from Heaven, lightening the earth with his glory, and crying mightily with a strong voice, announcing the sins of Babylon. Man-made policies are made to be changed. Gods principles/commandments don’t change. Why are you comparing Gods principles to man’s policies?
Any person can at any time stop returning tithe, if they want. That’s between them and God. Period.

I suspect that the church took money from the government to refuse religious exemptions. Here in central Virginia, the church services were held on zoom during the plandemic, but many of the local SDA churches opened their doors, even on the Sabbath, to be used as a facility to administer the poison…
