For Matpats past theories, if you want to know every about the Books up to now, the best starting point is "The secret crimes of 1985", and go from there. He covers every fazbeat frights book.
Also know there are probably some very outdated details like him saying that Michael Afton is not the older brother of fnaf 4 and is instead a robot version of the crying child… yeah robot crying child was a theory before security breach.
Also note: he doesn't cover the original 3 novel trilogy (now graphic novels) as stand alone theories, he more or less just uses them to support other theories, cause the name William Afton was introduced in that book, and helped us figure out the identity of Purple Guy, confirmed to be William in Sister Location. Id suggest to go read all 3 of those yourself, they are very much worth it.

I feel like the note room just opens a massive can of worms, nothing is 100% clear from that point. I can agree with Gregory hiding down in the note room but anything from there is just not concrete enough for me to agree with. I still stand by that patient 46 is vanny and that Elizabeth controls the vanny side of her and that glitchtrap was and is the combination of both of those evil spirits, we see this in the books with the massive afton robot. Both Elizabeth and William were possessing this massive almagation of all the animatronic parts as one being until the puppet got involved and broke it all apart and just before the puppet broke it down completely, Elizabeth escaped to avoid falling down that rabbit hole (no pun intended). I feel like this theory I have about this makes near perfect sense. And the other part of this part of the theory that mat has going that doesn’t work is how the Elizabeth spirit can be in both Vanessa and Gregory at the same time, this makes ZERO sense. But this is just my opinion on the matter
Actually Scott still owns the franchise and he is still behind everything but he's just not going to work on games anymore, like he will still write the story and stuff just not make and code the game itself

Maybe he made the robots scarier because he viewed them as scary before he died, plus Afton was not springtrap when Crying Child died, so maybe he is shocked that his dad is in that robot, or he just doesn't recognize him

Hope you see this theory that I thought of watching your great video and Steven I literally had to type this all over again but anyways if you search up are the sister location animatronics are possessed it says yes I know the internet is not always right but its for the theory I thought of and it makes sense but anyways; my theory is what if ennard was patient 46 it leaves Michael to die on the ending of the game but we never see where it ends up plus that mangled animatronic at the end of the burning ending of the pizza plex was never confirmed to be ennard and and ennard only had sister location animatronics as one not fnaf 2 plus even tho there were parts of them there all of them was combined in ennard anyway so it wouldn’t matter if there parts are there because they are all fused in ennard and so if they are possessed what if the other sister location animatronics were kids killed by William right before he was killed by fnaf 1 kids which means they couldn’t get there revenge so once they got out of the location they wanted to find him but they noticed that vanny was being controlled by the same type of coding that William used to make there model animatronics which later probably became the code to brainwash people and animatronics; anyways they followed vanny to her therapy sessions trying to get information about William by keeping tabs on vanny and since they would be all animatronics in one that would include Elizabeth so what if vanny is just vanny but Elizabeth and the other souls of sister location was all in ennard trying to find william Elizabeth wanting to see him while the others wanting to get revenge; the kids wouldn’t want anyone to find out the truth because William could be controlling or blackmailing someone to ask vanny questions to see her loyalty to him and since he can control her and animatronics it’s most likely he can control other people to; and right after vanny left he saw no point in there assistance anymore so he let them go because he didn’t care,but since he let them go of his control (if he was controlling the therapist in the first place) he wouldn’t see anything or care about the therapist sessions so he would go back to what he was doing or planing but ennard came to see what and who vanny was but had to see the therapist to to not have any suspicions about them because the kids wouldn’t know if the therapist was still being blackmailed or controlled so they went in and since they didn’t know if they were being blackmailed or controlled they would’ve killed the therapist when they got close to the truth so they wouldn’t wish any chances of William finding out there plan and since they would’ve been kids when they were killed they wouldn’t understand big words which is why they didn’t understand some things but they would be good with computers and about patient 46 lieing about their parents if ennard used a kid as a skin suit it would make sense because that kid would’ve had a family before ennard killed him which is why ennard/the souls of the sister location kids wouldn’t know of there skin suits life which is why the therapist said they lied I had some more things to say after this on my fist attempt to send this to you but I forgot and tried to correct this so you could understand what im thinking hope this makes sense and pls reply on how you feel about the theory and everyone else who reads this✋🥲

I personally am 50% thinking it’s a different follower of Afton, perhaps tape girl, or Vanny. I’m or sold on 46 being Gregory or Baby. The detail he mentioned of 46 lying about family makes me think Afton brainwashed Vanessa to think she was his daughter. Trying to replace Elizabeth with Vanny also would fit the symbolism. I need more before I decide.
