Fantasia pays tribute to Tina Turner and Oprah wears vintage Valentino in her honor. Fantasia Barrino was golden paying tribute to Tina Turner Sunday night at the Grammys. “The Color Purple” star was introduced by her mentor and one of Turner’s friends, Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey referred to Turner, who died in May at the age of 83, as “our forever goddess of rock & roll” and set the tone for Barrino’s performance.

  1. Nope Fantasia smoke that performance! Because Fantasia has natural soul and commands that stage like Aretha, Tina and Patti does. Beyoncé is a staged rehearsed. performer, she doesn’t have that kind of soul that Fantasia possesses.

  2. Fantasia was the proper choice, also a huge Tina fan and NO ONE else could’ve done this better, Beyonce already tried. Tina Turner is MOST Definitely a Rock and Roll artist and stated that many times out her own mouth before leaving this earth.

  3. I really don’t know if you don’t know the history of Rock n Roll but Ike Turner is the pioneer of Rock n Roll and Tina helped to build his empire. So how could she not be the Goddess of Rock and Roll? And Fantasia was brilliant!!! She can move too! And she is much or soulful and annoited so it actually made me tear up because that’s the effect she has on me! I loved it!

  4. Now stop it. She would not have ate the dancing up. I believe Beyoncé can sing and is a great performer. She does what she does for her and her music and fantasia does her. Stop comparing these queens because they both have their own style. My personal opinion Beyoncé can sing but fantasia can sang…
